It is scheduled to be the sequel to <em>Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One</em>, which was released in 2023 and also serves as the eighth installment in the franchise.</p>

The filming has already concluded, as it was shot consecutively with the previous installment. Currently, the movie is set to be released on <strong>May 23, 2025</strong>, and will be distributed by Paramount Pictures.</p>



<p>According to the official synopsis provided by IMDb, the plot follows Ethan and his team on a mission to find and destroy an AI known as The Entity. The globetrotting journey leads to incredible action scenes and more than one unexpected twist.</p>



<h3>The film to be shot in space | TBA</h3>



<p>And to break with all predictions and paradigms, the star will truly do the impossible: he will become the first civilian to perform a spacewalk outside the space station. Directing the movie, still in development, is <strong>Doug Liman</strong>, known for being responsible for <em>Edge of Tomorrow</em>.</p>



<p>According to Variety, it was already known that the film would shoot scenes on the ISS, but Universal Pictures’ Chairwoman, <strong>Donna Langley</strong>, confessed that the plan is for the actor not only to travel to space but also to perform a spacewalk. Of course, the project has a quite extensive budget, approximately 200 million dollars.</p>



<p><strong>Elon Musk</strong> and his company SpaceX will assist in making this a reality, as the star would travel aboard the Crew Dragon capsule. In addition to details about the overall team, Langley revealed a bit about the general storyline. When talking about Cruise’s journey into space, she said:</p>



<p><em>“It actually [mostly] takes place on Earth, and then the character needs to go to space to save the day”</em>. The main character is basically <em>“an unlucky guy who finds himself in the position of being the only person who could save the Earth”</em>.</p>



<h3>Alejandro G. Iñárritu’s untitled film | TBA</h3>



<p>Tom was chosen to star in the upcoming film by Mexican director <strong>Alejandro G.</strong> <strong>Iñárritu</strong> for Warner Bros. and Legendary. According to Deadline, the project would mark the filmmaker first English-language movie since his success with <em>The Revenant</em> in 2015, starring Leonardo DiCaprio.</p>



<p>Not much is known about the project, as it is being worked on with a great deal of rigor, secrecy, and mystery. The plot has not yet been revealed, but it has been confirmed that it will be produced by the director, who also co-wrote the screenplay in 2023 along with <strong>Sabina Berman</strong> and his co-writers from <em>Birdman</em>, <strong>Alexander Dinelaris</strong> and <strong>Nicolas Giacobone</strong>.</p>

<p>On Friday, January 12, 2024, the possible arrival of a third installment of Top Gun was confirmed. <p><strong>The Movie Critic</strong> will be <strong>Quentin Tarantino</strong>‘s last major film, marking his farewell to the industry as a director. <p>Courtney leads the popular clique called ‘The Flawless Four,’ creating a fearful atmosphere in the school and bullying other students.
