Year after year, the horror genre unleashes countless monsters onto the big screen, but Art the Clown has emerged as one of the most beloved. This was further proven by the outstanding reception of the first screening of “Terrifier 3,” which garnered excellent reviews.

In the third installment, Sienna and her younger brother are struggling to rebuild their lives after surviving the brutal events of the second part. With renewed hope, they attempt to embrace the Christmas spirit, but Art returns once more to wreak havoc on their lives.

Damien Leone, the mastermind behind the franchise, continues to surprise fans. Just when it seemed he might take a breather after the release of “Terrifier 3” release, he confirmed that “Terrifier 4” is officially on the way!

The announcement came on the night of September 19 at Fantastic Fest, during a relaxed Q&A with Damien Leone. In the midst of casual conversation, Leone dropped the exciting news: “Terrifier 4” is happening! However, it’s likely that the film’s box office performance will play a key role in securing the continuation of the project.

Without giving too much away, those who have already seen “Terrifier 3” have hinted that the picture leaves plenty of room for expansion in Art the Clown’s twisted universe. The return of David Howard Thornton as the infamous killer is a given, but the rest of the cast remains a mystery for now.

One thing is certain: fans can expect even more blood. As the “Terrifier” franchise has gained popularity, Leone has secured increasingly larger budgets to deliver the over-the-top gore that fans love. To put it in perspective, the original “Terrifier” had a budget of just $35,000–$55,000, “Terrifier 2” increased to $250,000, and the upcoming installment had a budget of $2 million.

The second installment was a massive success, raking in $15.7 million at the box office—a significant win for a production with such a modest budget. If “Terrifier 3” can achieve similar success, it’s highly likely we’ll be hearing more news about “Terrifier 4” very soon. Stay tuned for updates!
