What is Constantine 2 about?

In the first installment, Constantine is dying but stays to save his soul by preventing the demons from Hell from entering Earth. Therefore, it is likely that in the sequel we will see him wandering as an ordinary mortal.

Constantine 2 has a complete script

It has been two years since the announcement of the long-awaited “Constantine” sequel, and this week it has had a noteworthy resurrection, as producer Lorenzo di Bonaventura confirmed that the script is complete.

The project was delayed due to the 2023 Writers Guild of America strike, but now that Akiva Goldsman (A Beautiful Mind and Batman & Robin) has finished developing the script, the next step is to begin production.

Collider reported that Di Bonaventura (Four Brothers and Transformers) praised the screenwriter for his hard work, “hinting at an exciting development for fans of the original film.” So, something big is truly on the horizon.
