“<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/jim-carrey-to-return-as-sonic-villain-release-date-and-more-of-the-third-movie-20240202-SPEN-4170.html">Sonic the Hedgehog 3</a>” is one of the actor’s major projects, where he will lend his voice to bring the character of Shadow to life, who will be one of the main characters in the third installment of the animated franchise.



According to IMDb, the story follows Sonic, Tails and Knuckles as they confront Dr. Eggman before he conquers the world. But it won’t be too easy, as he will have a new ally, Project Shadow.

Directed by Jeff Fowler, the film will have its grand debut in theaters on December 20, 2024. The actor will reprise his role as the supernatural exorcist and demonologist John Constantine, and in the new installment, he is dying but will stay behind to save his soul by preventing demons from hell entering Earth.

Francis Lawrence has been chosen as the director of the drama, which is currently in production and does not yet have an exact release date, but could arrive between 2025 and 2026.



The star of John Wick was not the only one confirmed for the cast; it was also reported that Peter Stormare (Armageddon) will bring Lucifer to life, reprising his role from the original edition.



<h4>Good Fortune – TBA</h4>



Everything related to “Good Fortune” is still being kept quite secret, as the plot has not even been revealed. However, it has been confirmed that it will be an <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/action">action</a>-comedy film starring a long list of talents.



Written and directed by Aziz Ansari, the project, which is still in post-production, features Reeves, Seth Rogen, Sandra Oh, Keke Palmer, Joe Anoa’i (Roman Reigns), Evan Shafran and the director himself as part of the cast.



<h4>BRZRKR – TBA</h4>



“BRZRKR” is a <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> that is still in pre-production and will feature Reeves as one of the main cast members, portraying an immortal warrior known as Berzerker in his struggle through the ages.



Action, adventure and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> are the elements that characterize the story, which was developed by the actor himself along with Matt Kindt, with whom he also created the comic, and Mattson Tomlin.



<h4>The Entertainment System is Down – TBA</h4>



“The Entertainment System Is Down” is one of the most recent projects, which is a work by Ruben Östlund, the two-time Palme d’Or-winning director who aims to elevate drama with significant investments.



Variety reported that the filmmaker purchased a retired Boeing 747 for the film and that it will be used at full scale for shooting in a studio. The actor will share the spotlight with major stars.



Kirsten Dunst (Civil War and Marie Antoinette) and Daniel Brühl (Good Bye, Lenin! and Rush) recently joined the film, chosen to play two of the main characters, along with the actor from The Matrix, who will also be a lead.



The story will be set on a long-distance flight where the entertainment system fails, and passengers will be forced to confront the horror of boredom, according to Variety.



Filming for the comedy is scheduled to begin in early 2025, so the film’s release is expected sometime in 2026. The full cast has not yet been finalized, but it appears there will be big names involved.



<h4>Outcome – TBA</h4>



“Outcome” is not only Keanu’s next big horror-crime <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/comedy">comedy</a>, but it will also be directed by Jonah Hill, who co-wrote the screenplay with Ezra Woods, known for this unique project so far.



The story follows Hollywood star Reef as he is forced to confront his issues and atone for his past after being threatened by a strange video from his history.

After several years of absence, The Matrix not only returned during 2022, but it was confirmed that the fifth installment of the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/alien-how-to-watch-all-the-movies-in-chronological-order-and-streaming">iconic franchise</a> is in development with several significant changes that could change everything.



The Wachowski sisters, who were responsible for directing the previous <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movies</a>, will no longer be in charge of the project. This time, it will be Drew Goddard who takes on the role, while also being responsible for writing the script.



Warner Bros. Discovery is the production company in charge of the science fiction drama, which starred Keanu Reeves and other big stars of the industry, such as Laurence Fishburne and Carrie-Anne Moss.

The project arose from a personal initiative of director Goddard, who contacted Warner and took charge of presenting the project. The company was fascinated with the proposal, and it was Jesse Ehrman, president of production, who spoke about it:



“Drew came to Warner Bros with a new idea that we all believe would be an incredible way to continue the world of The Matrix, honoring what Lana and Lilly started over 25 years ago and offering a unique perspective based on his own love for the series and the characters“.

When the filmmaker and screenwriter was asked about how the original idea for the next installment of the franchise came about, he pointed out: “It’s not hyperbole to say that the Matrix movies changed cinema and my life. Lana and Lilly’s exquisite art inspire me daily, and I am more than grateful for the opportunity to tell stories in their worl”. 



<h2>Lana Wachowski will participate as a producer</h2>



Lana Wachowski, one of the sisters who make up the well-known director duo, confirmed that she will be in The Matrix 5 as a producer. In the case of her sister Lily, it is still a mystery if she will be part of it.



It is likely that she won’t be present in the project, as in the last installment titled The Matrix Resurrections, she didn’t want to return because “going back was very unappealing”. Lana was the one who directed her in 2021.
