The first Joker movie did not necessarily feature a villain, but instead focused on the story from a different perspective, being much darker and oriented towards the mental health of the main character, Arthur Fleck.
This time, the sequel will bring a bit more action and chaos to the big screen, as it will feature a sort of villain, revealed in the second trailer for “Joker: Folie à Deux“, which was released just 10 hours ago.
Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix will be joined by 27-year-old British actor Harry Lawtey, who will bring Harvey Dent, now known as Two-Face, to life. Here, check out everything known about the antagonist of the drama…
Harvey Dent will appear in Joker: Folie à Deux
After many rumors about Batman’s appearance in the Joker sequel, the mystery has finally been resolved, and the second trailer for the movie confirmed that it is indeed Harvey Dent, one of the vigilante’s foes.
The drama, set to premiere on October 4th, will not only feature Lady Gaga and Joaquin Phoenix as the leads but will also introduce several iconic characters from DC Comics, including Two-Face.
It is expected that Dent will appear as the district attorney. He would not be a direct enemy of Arthur, as both essentially have the same goal. This version of Harvey still speaks to the people of Gotham as a leader.
It is still unknown if the drama will show how he becomes Two-Face, but it is known that he will have considerable interaction with the character played by the Oscar-winning actor of 2019, who has been praised for his performance.
