It Ends with Us was not only one of the best-selling romance novels in recent years but also Colleen Hoover‘s writing brought about a change within the genre. Its popularity quickly soared in 2016 as readers discovered the story of Lily Bloom, Atlas Corrigan and Ryle Kincaid.

Its emotional and reflective narrative made the plot one of the most talked-about, especially among literary critics. The book addresses sensitive and real-life issues such as domestic violence and abusive relationships, exploring the importance of self-love, making difficult decisions and breaking the cycle of unhealthy patterns.
