Despite debuting on the big screen in 1998, “Practical Magic” has become a cult classic. Now, with the announcement of its unexpected sequel featuring the original cast, it is one of the hottest trends at the moment.

Sandra Bullock (Bird Box) and Nicole Kidman (Moulin Rouge!) have confirmed they will reunite, returning as the Owens sisters in the continuation, which premiered over 25 years ago and helped cement their status as stars.

Akiva Goldsman, who originally wrote the screenplay, will return to contribute once again in the same role. The movie focuses on the curse that causes any man who loves the sisters to die, preventing them from finding true love.
