Aaron Taylor-Johnson has been in the entertainment industry since he was quite young, but fame didn’t come to him until he brought the non-superpowered teenage superhero Dave Lizewski to life in the 2010 action–comedy, Kick-Ass.

Since then, his career has been filling up with major productions, including some of the most successful ones, like Avengers: Age of Ultron. Once incorporated into the MCU, the actor portrayed Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver).

After delivering a stellar performance, praised by both critics and audiences, the star began working with some of Hollywood’s popular icons. He also appeared in Train Bullet, sharing the screen with Brad Pitt and more.

All upcoming projects of Aaron Taylor-Johnson

Fuze — TBD

With a filmography of over 40 productions, Aaron has chosen a thriller to expand his career, and it’s titled Fuze, to be directed by David Mackenzie from an original script by Ben Hopkins.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson attends the ‘Bullet Train’ promotion event.
The crime thriller revolves around the discovery of an unexploded World War II bomb at a construction site in London, leading to a massive evacuation as bomb disposal experts descend on the scene to defuse it.

However, the distraction also provides the perfect cover for a bank heist, causing chaos to erupt, and things quickly spiral out of control. The director himself spoke about the story, saying:

“I had the idea of combining all the risks of an unexploded bomb with those of a bank robbery, colliding these two genres to create the greatest possible pressure in a context that feels as real as possible. Ben Hopkins took those ingredients and crafted the compelling script that we are now bringing to production“.

The release date for the film is still unknown, as the production is in its early stages, and the cast has not been fully finalized, indicating that filming is not set to begin anytime soon.

Rothko — October 25, 2024

The star will not only share the screen with Russell Crowe in Kraven but will also do so in Rothko, the biographical film about the iconic painter set to hit the big screen on October 25, 2024. The script is written by Lee Seldes and Lara Wood.

The story follows Kate Rothko, the daughter of the revered American painter Mark Rothko, who becomes entangled in a prolonged legal battle with the executors of her father’s estate and gallery directors, in a struggle to honor his legacy.

So far, it is only known that the Gladiator actor will portray Mark Rothko, and he will be joined by figures such as Michael Stuhlbarg, Jared Harris, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Aisling Franciosi, who will play the role of Kate Rothko.

The Fall Guy — May 3, 2024

The Fall Guy is the upcoming action thriller that will reunite the actor with prominent figures in the industry, such as Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, who will be the stars of the film scheduled to make its debut on the big screen on May 3.

There, Aaron will portray Tom Ryder, while the rest of the cast will include Teresa Palmer, Winston Duke, Stephanie Hsu, Hannah Waddingham, Adam Dunn, David Collins, Lee Majors, Zara Michales, and other actors.

The story follows Colt Seavers, a stuntman who left the business a year ago to focus on his physical and mental health. However, he returns to service when the star of a big-budget movie directed by his ex-wife goes missing.

The dramedy is directed by David Leitch, based on a script developed by Drew Pearce, who drew inspiration from the original television series that aired from 1981 to 1986 and was created by Glen A. Larson.

Nosferatu — December 25, 2024

Nosferatu is the upcoming major horror film that brings back the classic and has become one of the most anticipated titles of 2024. It is estimated to make its grand debut on the screen on December 25th, so we already have plans for Christmas.

Directed and written by Robert Eggers, it is a gothic tale of obsession set in 19th-century Germany between an enchanted young woman and the ancient Transylvanian vampire who stalks her, bringing with it incalculable horror.

Kraven the Hunter — August 30, 2024

It seems that his collaboration with Marvel Studios is not over yet. After his role as Pietro Maximoff ended in the MCU with Avengers: Age of Ultron, the studio didn’t let him stray too far, as he will now be the lead in Kraven: The Hunter.

The film is set to hit the big screen on August 30th of this year, with J.C. Chandor as the director, and undoubtedly, it will bring several surprises with it. It’s a rather atypical project for the company, as blood and violence are the defining features of the plot.

Aaron Taylor-Johnson will bring Sergei Kravinoff to life, also known as Kraven. The story follows the Russian immigrant who embarks on a mission to prove that he is the world’s best hunter and a formidable strategist.

The character is a supervillain, with his main obsession being to hunt and defeat the most dangerous creatures. In the comics, he considers Spider-Man as his most desired prey, so the adaptation might pave the way for a crossover at some point.

The cast will be filled with A-list stars, and the 33-year-old actor won’t be the only one shining on screen; he will be joined by Russell Crowe, Christopher Abbott, Alessandro Nivola, Ariana DeBose, Fred Hechinger, Chi Lewis-Parry, and Levi Miller, among others.

There were several months of doubt about who would wear the elegant suit, but it seems that the wait is over.

Two years ago, Searchlight Pictures confirmed that the singer will make her directorial debut with a feature film she wrote herself, having already met with the company’s president, David Greenbaum in the premiere of Poor Things.

She attended the screening in New York to support her friend Emma Stone, and of course, rumors quickly began to spread. This week, the entertainment news site Puck confirmed when the project will start development.

When will Taylor Swift have her directional debut?

Apparently, Taylor Swift hasn’t tired of adding new projects to her to-do list. Soon, she will have her grand debut as a film director, and according to Puck and Film Updates, this will take place after The Eras Tour is completed.

On the other hand, the presidents of Searchlight, David Greenbaum and Matthew Greenfield, also didn’t hesitate to praise her when they spoke about the film, saying, “Taylor is a unique artist and storyteller in a generation. It’s a genuine joy and privilege to collaborate with her as she embarks on this new and exciting creative journey“.

So, without a doubt, the project will be one of the most anticipated of the coming year…

What story could she possibly tell?

So far, there has been no official confirmation from the singer or her inner circle, but it has been revealed that Taylor Swift will be responsible for writing the story, not just directing it. The theories have not been long in coming, and one of them suggests that the film could be connected to her music, perhaps even adapting one of her songs.

This rumor has been gaining strength, especially with The Last Great American Dynasty, which belongs to the Folklore album. These comments arose after a series of tweets and responses that the singer herself had with Ryan Reynolds and Jesse Tyler Ferguson on X during 2020.

However, the actress is also seeking to make her first feature film.

In an interview with Variety prior to 2024 Sundance, Stewart said that she is looking for financial support to finally make her first feature film, an adaptation of “The Chronology of Water,” the 2011 memoir by author Lidia Yuknavitch.

Stewart, 33, said that she won’t make another film until she can finally direct this one, which she announced back in 2018. “I’m going to make this movie before I ever work for someone else,” she told the publication. However, thankfully for her fans, she has already filmed some movies. Check out where to watch her next.

Love Me (2024)

“Love Me,” premiered at a competition at 2024 Sundance. Written and directed by Andy and Sam Zuchero in their directorial debut, the film is a post-human love story between two AIs: a buoy, named Me (Stewart), created to catalog the ocean, and a satellite, named Iam (played by Steven Yeun). The movie doesn’t have a distributor yet.

Sacramento (TBD)

Stewart will also appear in Michael Angarano’s second feature film “Sacramento,” a road trip comedy in which he stars alongside Michael Cera. Angarano also wrote the script with Chris Smith. Maya Erskine is also set to star. The movie was filmed in 2023, but it doesn’t have an official release date yet.

The Chronology of Water (Director)

Stewart will direct this adaptation of Lidia Yuknavitch’s memoir. While she is still looking for financial backing, she has a lead: Imogen Poots, will star as the author. The film is also being produced by Ridley Scott through his production company Scott Free.

Flesh of the Gods (TBD)

Stewart will act alongside Oscar Isaac in the upcoming vampire thriller “Flesh of the Gods.” The film is set in the 1980s Los Angeles, and they will play a married couple which will find themselves attracted to enigmatic figure known as Nameless, which will drawn them into a glamorous, surrealistic world of hedonism, thrills and violence.

The Challenger (TBA)

Kristen has joined “The Challenger” to star and finally make her big debut as a lead in a TV series. The actress will bring Sally Ride, the first female astronaut to fly in space, to life.

Maggie Cohn has been chosen to write and be the showrunner of the limited series, which could fall into the hands of Amazon, although nothing is confirmed yet, but it will be revealed in the coming weeks.

The story follows Sally, who became the first to fly as part of NASA’s 1978 space shuttle astronaut class, which was the first to be diversified not comprised of all white men, according to Deadline.

New year, new edition of the Super Bowl. This time, it will be Usher who takes the stage to perform the legendary Halftime Show at the NFL final between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, Travis Kelce‘s team.

It is estimated that the presentation will last just under 30 minutes, and millions of viewers will be present, both at the stadium in Las Vegas and online. Paramount+ and CBS will be responsible for broadcasting the sporting event.

The game will take place on Sunday, February 11, and will start at 6:30 p.m. ET, so the singer’s performance will begin at approximately 8 p.m. ET. This will not be his first collaboration with the NFL, as he has performed a few years ago.

Is this the first time Usher will sing at the Super Bowl?

Usher has already performed in the Halftime Show, but as a special guest. So the Super Bowl 2024 will not be his first appearance at the NFL event. Previously, we saw him as with The Black Eyed Peas, alongside Slash, in the 2011 edition.

Usher performs with will.i.am of The Black Eyed Peas during the Bridgestone Super Bowl XLV Halftime Show. (Source: Christopher Polk/Getty Images)

This took place on February 6 at the Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas, as part of Super Bowl XLV. Originally, a country music show was planned before the popular group agreed to perform.

The performance didn’t go quite well. Although the choice aimed to bring back the younger audience to the show, it received considerable criticism. Usher entered in a somewhat similar manner to sing “OMG” alongside will.i.am.

CBS News reported in February 2011 that the singer’s brief appearance was the most interesting part of the show. They provided a brief review of the halftime show, stating:

<iframe loading="lazy" title="Black Eyed Peas ft.

“It fell to Usher to inject a bit of life into the halftime show, and he did not disappoint as he appeared dressed all in white with a flank of dancers. Although Usher seemed to dance ‘OMG’ more with will.i.am than sing it, his syncopated moves and flips provided the jolt of energy that the Peas were lacking“.

Even though he has been on stage before, he will be making his debut as a headliner this year. His performance will be a summary of his 30 years in the music industry, so the setlist will feature major classics such as “You Make Me Wanna” and “Confessions Part II”.

Usher to recap his 30-year career on the Halftime Show

Now that he will be the headliner of the Super Bowl Halftime Show 2024, the singer has set a significant goal: to recap his 30-year career in the music industry. During an interview with Vogue, he revealed that he wants the audience to feel his passion and that “I was the right person to bring this kind of energy, love, and connection to the whole world”.

When discussing the setlist, which will feature some of his greatest classics, he mentioned that one of his musical genres will predominate over the others. “Tonight was specifically selected in my mind for R&B to take center stage… Not just R&B music but R&B performance, R&B connection, R&B spirit”, the singer confessed.

The show will last only 13 minutes, so he has limited time to include many songs on the list. However, the planning has been carefully thought out, and when asked about choosing the perfect songs, he said, “I’ve been doing this for 30 years. I want the people who have been part of that journey to feel like it’s a celebration for all of us, from the beginning to this moment”.

Well, Taylor Swift will do the impossible to make it in time for the Super Bowl 2024 final, where she will cheer on Travis Kelce and the rest of the members of the Kansas City Chiefs.
According to the local newspaper Kansas City Star, it was reported that American Airlines added seven new non-stop flights between Kansas and Las Vegas for the Super Bowl, spanning from February 8 to 13. Therefore, everyone is pulling out all the stops to ensure the star can attend.

Tom Holland is not only one of the most influential young stars of his generation but is also an icon within the industry, especially after bringing Spider-Man to life in the new versions of the MCU, where he shared the screen with Zendaya.

Despite being constantly asked about his return to don the superhero suit at some point, the actor has stayed away from the cameras for a while. However, he is now back with a bang and has new projects on the way.

At the time, he chose to give his career the makeover it needed and followed in the footsteps of other figures, like Daniel Radcliffe, by fully venturing into theater with his play Romeo and Juliet. Here, check out his upcoming films…

What are Tom Holland’s next projects?

Beneath a Scarlet Sky

According to Screen Rant, Holland is set to star in Beneath a Scarlet Sky and will put the actor at the center of this true-life story (and 2017 historical novel of the same name by author Mark Sullivan) about Pino Lella, an Italian teenager during World War II.

The film will reunite the star with Spider-Man producer Amy Pascal, as it is a production of Pascal Pictures. The director responsible for the project is not yet known, but it has been confirmed that the plot is quite emotional, heartbreaking, and dramatic, presenting a new challenge for the actor.

Tom Holland attends Apple TV+’s “The Crowded Room” New York Premier.
The story follows Pino, whose country has been taken over by fascist Mussolini and his Nazi allies. He joins the underground movement to help Jews escape to Switzerland but is later conscripted into the German army by his parents. When Pino is injured, he is assigned a role that provides a significant advantage as a member of the Italian resistance: serving as Adolf Hitler’s personal chauffeur.

Fred Astaire biopic

Fred Astaire will have his own biopic, and it will be Tom Holland who brings the actor, singer, and dancer to life. Sony will be the production company in charge of the title, and now that the young star has returned to the scene, it is estimated that the film will resume its development.

So far, only Tom has been confirmed, both in the cast and the overall team, as the project is in the pre-production phase. This will be the perfect time for him to showcase his dancing skills, bringing the icon to life.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paul King (known for Paddington and Wonka) has been chosen to direct the yet-to-be-titled biographical film about the choreographer who shone during the golden age of cinema.

The story will follow the classic fiction that has marked history but in London’s West End. It is a new version, which will be directed by Jamie Lloyd, a British theater director known for his minimalist and expressionist style. The play will premiere at the Duke of York’s Theatre in London in May, and you can purchase tickets starting from February 13.

Uncharted 2

After the massive success of the film adaptation of Uncharted, it was expected that Sony would want to continue the story of the popular video game on the big screen, so its anticipated sequel was announced.

The British actor will return to lead the plot in the role of Nathan Drake, while he is accompanied by his co-star, who brings Victor Sullivan to life. Mark himself assured that his character will be more faithful to the games.

Spider-Man 4

Of course, after watching “No Way Home”, it goes without saying that there will be new films on the way, bringing back the original actors. The fourth installment is scheduled for 2026, with filming taking place in the summer of 2025.

In an interview with Fandango, producer Amy Pascal revealed that No Way Home is not the last for the superhero; quite the opposite, as Sony is considering expanding the character’s story in Marvel.

“We think of this as three films, and now we’re going to go onto the next three. This is not the last of our MCU movies”, she confessed.

“American Speed” is the upcoming dramatic film from Oscar-nominated Charles Roven, which will bring together two of the most talented young stars in the industry: Tom Holland and Austin Butler. And… they’ll be brothers!

The film is based on real events and follows the story of two Texan brothers, Dale and Bill Whittington, who used to be race car drivers. Both competed in Le Mans as well as multiple times in the Indy 500.

They were really popular, especially after being part of the 1980s scandal involving the International Motor Sports Association, where drivers funded their activities with drug trafficking profits.

Not much is known about the project yet, only that the actors are the only confirmed cast members as of September 2024, and that the producer behind it, along with Atlas Entertainment, is confirmed.

Untitled Christopher Nolan Universal Project

Christopher Nolan’s mysterious upcoming project, expected to be released on July 17, 2026, is poised to be another A-list picture from him. Not only has it called on Matt Damon to star, but it has also added Tom Holland to what is expected to be one of the most star-studded casts.

Not much is known about the film, except that it will be set in a time period that is not close to the present at all. Following Nolan’s very successful collaboration with Universal for “Oppenheimer”, the studio will once again produce and is already preparing for an IMAX release, as is customary for the director.

This will be the third time that the filmmaker and Damon collaborate, while it will be a first for Holland. Given that Nolan has a tendency to direct Oscar-nominated performances, fans of the “Spider-Man” actor are already buzzing with excitement about this possibility.

Avengers: Doomsday

After a long time without knowing what would happen to the future of the MCU following Jonathan Majors’ departure, The Kang Dynasty was finally released, and the story shifted to another villain: Victor von Doom.

“Avengers: Doomsday” will hit the big screen on May 1, 2026, and will star Robert Downey Jr., but not in the iconic Iron Man suit; this time, he will be the bad guy, Doom.

Robert Downey Jr. at an event for Avengers: Doomsday in 2024. (Source: IMDb)

Tom Holland is one of the many actors returning for the new installment, but he won’t be the only talented one, as there will be a highly anticipated crossover between the Avengers and the new Fantastic Four.

Therefore, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and Joseph Quinn will also be present, as they are part of the main cast of the awaited continuation. Without a doubt, 2026 will be a great year for Marvel fans!

Joe Alwyn has gained a reputation for being a mysterious actor. Even when he dated Taylor Swift, the biggest pop star on the planet, for six years, the actor managed to maintain a low profile. However, still, people want to learn more about him, including his net worth.

According to Celebrity Net Worth, Alwyn has an estimated net worth of $4 million. This, of course, comes primarily from his acting career. The 32-year-old has worked in daring projects, including Yorgos Lanthimos’ “The Favourite” (2018) and Claire Denis’ “Stars at Noon” (2022).

He also starred in the Hulu’s series “Conversation With Friends,” an adaptation of Sally Rooney’s novel of the same name.
Did Alwyn win ‘Album of the Year’ for ‘Midnights’?

As Swift received the ‘Album of the Year’ award at the 2024 Grammys on Sunday (Feb. 4th), many fans wonder if Alwyn also won the prize again. This time, Alwyn, who co-wrote “Sweet Nothing” with Swift, didn’t win the prize. Lana del Rey and Zoë Kravitz, who also co-wrote a song for the album each, also didn’t win.

This happened because the Recording Academy changed a rule in June 2023. The new rule says that to get nominated, artists, featured artists, songwriters, producers, engineers, mixers, and mastering engineers must be credited with at least 20 percent of the album’s playing time.

What is Joe Alwyn doing next?

After “Conversations With Friends” and “Stars at Noon,” Alwyn is set to appear in three upcoming movies. He will appear in Yorgos Lanthimos’ next film “Kinds of Kindness,” which also stars Emma Stone and Margaret Qualley.

Now that Taylor Swift has announced the arrival of her 11th studio album in April, titled The Tortured Poets Department, the focus has been on her. A few days ago, the tracklist was released, where one of the songs was named Clara Bow.

This is the 16th song, which is based on the story of the silent film actress and the first It Girl, who faced public intrusion into her personal and romantic life, leading to a nervous breakdown.

Many fans have been speculating and creating theories regarding the melody, lyrics, and how the singer’s story connects with the star who shone in the 1920s. Here, check out who the memorable It Girl was…

Who was Clara Bow?

Clara Bow was an American silent film actress and one of the early Hollywood superstars. She was born on July 29, 1905, in Brooklyn, New York and passed away on September 27, 1965. In her heyday, she was known as the “It Girl“, a term coined to describe her allure and charisma on the screen.

Clara Bow in The Fleet’s In. (Source: IMDb)

She gained popularity during the 1920s and became one of the highest-paid actresses of the time, with the 1927 film “Wings” being one of her standout performances. She won the first Academy Award for Best Picture for her role on this one, and the film “It” contributed to her nickname as the It Girl.

Throughout her career, she starred in over 40 films, but her success was affected by the transition to sound cinema and some personal challenges. Despite this, her legacy as one of the early film stars continues to be remembered in the history of the entertainment industry.

Despite enduring injustices for most of her life, her determination to escape the darkness in which she lived and seek a better life eventually led to better days. Everything happened after she submitted photos to The Fame and Fortune Contest and landed the role, even though it was eventually excluded.

“No one wanted me. I was always alone and scared. I never had clothes, and many times, I had nothing to eat. We just survived, and that’s it. The girls avoided me because I was very poorly dressed. I decided that girls weren’t that nice and tried my luck with the neighborhood boys. I became a tomboy: I played baseball, football, and learned to box”, the star recalled during an interview.

Her withdrawal from the industry was related to facing numerous personal challenges, including mental health issues and problems in her relationships. The constant pressure of fame and the demands of the entertainment industry contributed to her stress and emotional exhaustion.

Her personal life was subjected to constant scrutiny and, in some cases, damaging scandals and rumors. This had a negative impact on her public image and mental well-being, leading her to retire from acting to focus on her family life.

Fans compare Taylor Swift to Clara Bow

Fans have been comparing Taylor Swift to Clara Bow in terms of the scrutiny both have faced during their careers and personal lives. The singer’s love life has been the subject of significant media attention, especially her relationships and breakups, which have been the topic of numerous speculations and rumors.

As a public figure, Swift has also faced comments about her body image. Over the years, there have been discussions and speculations about her physical appearance, much like what happened to Bow. Both have been in the public eye for a long time, and this constant scrutiny has led both to take breaks from the industry due to ongoing criticism.

In the movie, the actress will portray Astrid Deetz, the young daughter of Lydia.

Jenna Ortega poses in the IMDb exclusive portrait studio at the Critics Choice Association 2nd Annual Celebration of Latino Cinema & Television.
The plot involves the young girl interacting with the world of the dead, and she is expected to be the one responsible for summoning Beetlejuice (played by Michael Keaton once again), who responds after being called three times by his name.

Tim Burton will return to direct the sequel, with Brad Pitt producing. Undoubtedly, we can expect a new installment that is super gothic and eerie, especially with the acclaimed filmmaker teaming up with the actress who portrayed Wednesday Addams.

Beetlejuice Beetlejuice will premiere on September 6, 2024, and will bring back much of the original cast, including Winona Ryder as Lydia Deetz, Catherine O’Hara as Delia Deetz, and Michael Keaton as Beetlejuice.

Klara and the Sun

Klara and the Sun is the upcoming film directed by Taika Waititi and starring Ortega in the role of Klara, while Amy Adams will portray Chris and Adebayo Abdulazeez will play Son. The project is an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Nobel Prize-winning author Kazuo Ishiguro.

The story follows a robot girl designed to alleviate loneliness as she attempts to save a family of humans with broken hearts. According to Deadline, Klara is purchased by a mother and a brilliant teenager named Josie, who adores her new robot companion but suffers from a mysterious illness.

Dahvi Waller is responsible for writing the script, based on the original novel. It is still unknown when the drama will hit the big screen or if it will have a streaming debut, as the film is still in development, and filming has not yet begun.

Alba

Alba is the upcoming A24 drama film directed by Francisca Alegria and produced by Margot Robbie‘s company, LuckyChap Entertainment. It is believed to premiere at some point in 2024, but the specific timing within the year has not been confirmed.

Jenna Ortega (X and Miller’s Girl) will join Camila Mendes (Riverdale, Do Revenge and Palm Springs) to star in the new adaptation of Federico García Lorca‘s play “La Casa de Bernarda Alba”.

The original play premiered in 1945 and is one of the most important works in history. According to Deadline, the Spanish poet and playwright narrates the mourning period self-imposed by Bernarda Alba after the death of her husband.

However, this does not sit well with her daughters, whom she has forbidden from forming any relationships, and this mourning period isolates them, creating tensions at home. This leads the five daughters to rebel against their mother’s wishes.

Untitled Trey Edward Shults movie

Ortega was one of the latest additions to the upcoming film directed by Trey Edward Shults. The project doesn’t have a title yet, but it has been confirmed that it will be led by the actress and Barry Keoghan, who recently shone in Saltburn and Masters of the Air.

Abel “The Weeknd” Tesfaye will make his debut as the lead actor, but it won’t be his only role in the film, as he has solidified his position as the co-writer of the script, alongside his producing partner Reza Fahim, according to Deadline.

The responsible filmmaker will also serve as an executive producer alongside the young female star, while Kevin Turen and Harrison Kreiss have joined Fahim to oversee the film solely as producers.

As it is still in development, the story has not been revealed, nor has any information about its release on the big screen or streaming. Therefore, we’ll have to wait and see what other details the cast members may reveal.

Winter Spring Summer or Fall

Winter Spring Summer or Fall is the upcoming romantic drama that will star Jenna and her former co-star from Wednesday, Percy Hynes White, who has been under social scrutiny due to certain accusations.

Despite seeming like the movie wouldn’t come out, it has been confirmed that it will hit the big screen in early summer 2024, so the countdown has already begun and the first previews have been revealed.

Jenna Ortega and Percy Hynes White in Winter Spring Summer or Fall.

Tiffany Paulsen (Holidate and About Fate) is in charge of directing and also co-wrote the script with Dan Schoffer (The Chair and Hollidaysburg). The narrative has been described as a teenage love story.

Apparently, the plot follows a genius girl destined for Harvard and a laid-back boy who meet in their senior year of high school and fall in love over four days of the year.
