During a press conference, Kelce briefly opened up about the July 3 ceremony at Madison Square Garden. According to The Daily Mail, the NFL star also reflected on the significance of celebrating one of the biggest moments of his life inside a venue he had dreamed of visiting since childhood.

“That’s about all I really got from that night,” he said. “It was a crazy night. It was full of a lot of celebration.” He then quickly brought the conversation back to his career, adding, “But it’s football, baby.”
The choice of Madison Square Garden also came up during the press conference. Kelce recalled that he had always wanted to experience the famous New York venue during a Knicks playoff game. “I always told myself I’d go for a playoff game when the Knicks were rocking,” he said. “Then my wife went when I was stuck in minicamp, so I didn’t get my opportunity to go then.”
Instead, Kelce ended up experiencing the arena in a very different way. “So it’s kind of cool to be able to live out my childhood dream of being in that venue, the Mecca of all sports venues, being able to get married in there,” he said.
Kelce also thanked Madison Square Garden’s owners for helping make the private celebration possible. “I can’t thank the owners of MSG for allowing us to get the opportunity to do that, knowing we wanted a private event and everything, so it was perfect,” he said. Then, with a characteristically light touch, he added one more detail about the venue: “And the AC was perfect, man, that’s the best part.”
The comments mark Kelce’s first public discussion of the wedding since he and Swift married on July 3. The ceremony reportedly brought around 1,000 guests to Madison Square Garden, with Adam Sandler serving as officiant and Austin Swift and Jason Kelce taking roles in the wedding party. Now, with the Chiefs preparing for their preseason opener against the Los Angeles Rams, Kelce is returning his attention to the NFL.
