The account offers one of the clearest glimpses yet into a celebration that was largely kept behind closed doors despite drawing an extraordinary guest list.
Joe Buck Says Travis Kelce Became Emotional From the Very Start of the Ceremony
Sports broadcaster Joe Buck revisited the July 3 wedding during an appearance on the Rates & Barrels podcast, where he described how emotional Kelce appeared even before the ceremony reached its biggest moment. Recalling the entrance of Jason Kelce’s daughters, Buck said, “Travis was a puddle watching his nieces come down the little ramp that they built.”

According to Buck, those emotions only intensified once Swift made her entrance. “And then, you know, when [Swift] walked out, he was a puddle,” he recalled. The wedding itself took place at Madison Square Garden in New York City, where the couple exchanged vows in front of family, friends, and a guest list that reportedly included around 1,000 celebrities and public figures.
Buck also shared a few details about the ceremony itself, including the vows that Swift and Kelce prepared for one another. While he noted they were lengthy, he praised the way they came together, calling them “well written.” He also described the exchange as “funny,” “sweet,” and “emotional,” without revealing any of the private promises the couple shared.
The ceremony marked another milestone in a relationship that has unfolded in the public eye since 2023. What began after Kelce famously tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number during the Eras Tour eventually led to a public romance, an engagement announced in August 2025, and their wedding less than a year later.
