During a WIRED interview alongside “The Odyssey” co-stars Matt Damon, Anne Hathaway and Robert Pattinson, the cast answered some of the internet’s most searched questions about the film. One of them focused on Athena, the goddess portrayed by Zendaya, and whether she had romantic feelings for Odysseus.
Holland wasted no time with his response. “No, because she’s married to me,” he said, prompting Damon to immediately reply, “Good answer.” The exchange quickly spread across social media, with many viewers interpreting the remark as yet another playful nod to the ongoing speculation surrounding the couple’s relationship.

The timing of the joke is notable given that Holland and Zendaya have never publicly confirmed whether they have married. Reports of their engagement first surfaced in early 2025, and fans have continued to scrutinize public appearances, jewelry and interviews for possible clues.
