Halle Berry has been a constant presence in the spotlight since she began her career in the ’90s, but in recent days, she’s been trending more than ever. This surge in attention is largely due to her work alongside Mark Wahlberg in “The Union,” which has become the most-watched title on the platform worldwide, according to FlixPatrol.
Although their friendship spans over 30 years, this is the first time they’ve shared the screen, and viewers are thrilled with their chemistry, already clamoring for a sequel that seems likely to happen.
However, not everything is smooth sailing for Halle. Amid her professional success, she is also revisiting a legal battle to alter the custody agreement regarding her 10-year-old son, Maceo Robert Martinez.
Halle Berry moves to obtain sole custody of son Maceo
According to multiple media sources, including the Daily Mail, Halle Berry is returning to court to seek sole custody of her son Maceo, whom she shares with ex-partner Olivier Martinez. The dispute centers around disagreements regarding Maceo’s education and medical care.

In documents filed by Berry, she alleges that Martinez has been uncooperative in addressing their son’s learning and behavioral challenges, as first reported by TMZ.
Berry claims that Martinez’s “turbulent behavior” and his emphasis on soccer over academics have caused Maceo to struggle in school, resulting in poor grades and falling behind his peers. She further alleges that Martinez refused to hire a tutor for their son because it would interfere with soccer practice.
Additionally, Berry asserts that Martinez has been sharing details of their parental conflicts with Maceo, but distorting the facts to paint himself in a more favorable light. She notes that after extended visits with his father, Maceo returns home verry combative.
The model’s goal is to obtain sole decision-making authority over Maceo’s education and therapy. As of now, there is no information on how Martinez has responded to these accusations, but we will keep you updated as the situation unfolds.
