Adria Arjona has her biggest role to date in “Hit Man,” the action romantic comedy in which she acts opposite Glen Powell. Directed by Richard Linklater, the movie has received overwhelmingly positive reviews, and it’s expected to reach the top of Netflix charts.

Arjona is best known for her roles in TV series, such as “Emerald City,” “Good Omens” and “Andor.” As well as for her various appearances in action movies such as “6 Underground,” “Pacific Rim Uprising” and “Morbius.”

Blink Twice | August 23, 2024

Arjona is part of the star-studded cast of “Blink Twice,” a psychological thriller that serves as Zoë Kravitz’s directorial debut. Starring Channing Tatum, the movie follows a waitress (Naomi Ackie), who is invited to a private island by a tech billionaire (Tatum) and ends up in a life-or-death situation.

The rest of the cast includes: Christian Slater, Simon Rex, Haley Joel Osment, Kyle MacLachlan, Geena Davis, and Alia Shawkat. According to Collider, Tatum explained that the film is “exploring some very uncomfortable themes.”

Andor: Season 2 | 2025

The Puerto Rican actress will also reprise her role as Bix Caleen in the second season of Star Wars TV show “Andor,” which is set to be released in 2025. Production was delayed after the labor strikes that took place last year, but filming ended in February.

Arjona has been cast in the upcoming Prime Video’s series “Criminal,” in which she will star opposite Richard Jenkins. The series will follow several crime stories based on the multi-Eisner Award-winning graphic novel series created by Brubaker and Sean Phillips.

The actress will play Greta, a top-level car thief and driver and the widowed mother of Angie. Ever since her husband died in a bank job gone wrong, Greta has been debating over leaving the criminal life behind. However, in order to do so, she has set her eyes in a top prize, so she and her daughter can start a new life.

Arjona is set to star alongside Dakota Johnson in this new comedy for Neon. While there aren’t much details about the project, it is being described as a “about navigating an open marriage.”

The film is being directed and co-written by Michael Angelo Covino, who will also star. Kyle Marvin, with whom he wrote the script, is also set to be part of the cast.
