Netflix has once again refreshed its Top 10 in the United States, and this week, a action drama from last year has become a trend. It’s one of the last movies Angus Cloud filmed before his passing.
The star of Euphoria portrays Sterling, one of the main characters in this suspenseful and crazy story directed by Dan Brown, who also wrote the short film Color TV No Vacancy.
After several months since its release, it has once again managed to trend in the American catalog of the streaming giant, occupying the sixth position within the ranking, according to Flix Patrol.
Your Lucky Day ranked No. 6 on Netflix US
“Your Lucky Day” is the action-packed suspense drama that has returned to trend in Netflix’s catalog, becoming one of the most-watched movies and occupying the sixth position within the Top 10 in the United States.
According to the specialized platform site, Flix Patrol, the title not only positioned itself at #6 but also surpassed other popular productions on the service, including “Alone” and “There’s Something in the Barn”.
It was one of the few projects that were promoted during 2023, and the cast was able to share insights about the movie because the production received an interim SAG-AFTRA agreement during the SAG-AFTRA Strike 2023.
The story follows a group who, after a fight over a winning lottery ticket escalates into a deadly hostage situation, must decide just how far they’ll go to get a share of the $156 million.
Angus Cloud is the one who brings the main character to life, but he wasn’t the only important one for the plot. He was accompanied by Elliot Knight as Abraham and Jessica Garza in the rol of Ana Marlene.
The crime thriller explores the complexities and inequalities of the American dream. Like all films with the most views, the narrative has multiple elements that capture attention, including a lot of intrigue, suspense and chaos.
