Travis Kelce is not only one of the most highly valued stars in the NFL, but he is now planning to bring his charisma to the big screen. Not only will he soon make his acting debut, but he also has several projects lined up.

For several months, there was speculation about what his first production in the industry might be, and there were even rumors that he would be part of the cast of Happy Gilmore 2 after he was seen wearing a cap featuring the sequel.

We can now say that his career is taking off quite rapidly, and even though we have yet to witness his talent in front of the camera, the hype from fans (especially the Swifties) is quite high.

What are Travis Kelce’s next projects?

Grotesquerie | September 25, 2024

Ryan Murphy was one of the first producers to recognize the potential talent Travis Kelce could have as an actor, offering him his first job in the industry, marking “Grotesquerie” as his acting debut.

The series follows a detective and a nun who investigate a series of gruesome crimes that seem personal, while grappling with their own issues and uncovering a sinister network that raises more questions than answers.

The horror drama will feature a star-studded cast of talented actors and will premiere on FX and Hulu this year, on September 25th. Its first season will consist of ten episodes, and the NFL player will appear in all of them.

The sports star will be joined by figures such as Niecy Nash, who will play one of the main roles, Det. Lois Tryon. Additionally, others who have joined the cast include Courtney B. Vance, Tessa Ferrer, Lesley Manville and more.

Happy Gilmore 2 | TBA

Around midday on Wednesday, August 21, it was confirmed that Travis’s schedule has become quite packed, not only due to his games but also because of his new film projects, such as the sequel to Happy Gilmore.

After several months of speculation and rumors about whether he would be involved in the movie, Travis has secured a spot in the cast of “Happy Gilmore 2“, where he will share the screen with Adam Sandler and Nick Swardson.

So far, they are the only three confirmed for the golf comedy, whose first installment became a classic and is one of the best in the comedian’s career. Not much else is known about the project yet…

Loose Cannons | TBA

Lionsgate is developing “Loose Cannons“, an action-comedy that will mark Travis Kelce’s first leading role. So far, he is the only confirmed cast member of the movie, which will be directed by Timothy Dowling.

The story follows two unhinged cops who are forced to team up after their precincts merge, taking on cases that no one else can solve. One of them will be played by the Kansas Chiefs player.
