What are Anne Hathaway’s next projects?

Written and directed by David Lowery, it explores the relationship between a fictional musician and a famous fashion designer. The characters are portrayed by Hathaway and Michaela Coel, known for I May Destroy You.

The Lifeboat | TBA

The Lifebout is an upcoming drama film that falls within the crime and suspense genre. The director for the project has not been confirmed yet, but it is known that the script will be written by William Broyles Jr. and Charlotte Rogan, the original author.

So far, Anne is the only confirmed cast member who will bring the story to life. Hathaway will portray Grace Winter, a young woman on trial for murder, who recounts how she survived a shipwreck at sea in a lifeboat that initially carried too many people.

Flowervale Street | May 16, 2025

Anne Hathaway will join forces with Ewan McGregor in Flowervale Street, the upcoming film written and directed by David Robert Mitchell, which will be released in theaters on May 16, 2025.

Deadline reported that while the film is teased as an “exciting journey” to be shot in IMAX, production is set to begin this fall. Warner Bros. Pictures, Bad Robot, and Jackson Pictures are the companies spearheading the project.

The Devil Wears Prada sequel | TBA

After more than a decade, the long-awaited return of The Devil Wears Prada has been announced with a sequel. Stanley Tucci, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway and Emily Blunt will be returning in their iconic roles.

This time, the story will focus on Miranda and Emily. It will follow Priestly’s decline, which forces her to confront her former assistant, who is now a high-ranking executive at a luxury group, seeking her help.

The Princess Diaries 3 | 2025-2026

20 years after the release of the sequel to The Princess Diaries, Anne has announced on her official Instagram account that she is back in Genovia as Queen Mia Thermopolis for the third installment of the franchise.

Adele Lim (Crazy Rich Asians and Joy Ride) has been chosen to direct the film, and Deadline reported that filming will begin in 2025, so the Disney’s movie could arrive sometime in 2026, according to estimates.

So far, the official plot has not been revealed, nor has it been confirmed who will return besides the actress, but Julie Andrews has expressed a strong desire to reprise her role as Clarisse Renaldi.
