<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a> has updated its Top 10 worldwide again, and this week there are two movies with the same name that have become a trend, they are “Inheritance“, a Polish production that shares the title with Lily Collins’ drama.



The crime <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/comedy">comedy</a> has been directed by Sylwester Jakimow, known for being responsible for “Jakos to bedzie”, and it has a screenplay written by Lukasz Sychowicz (Fighter and The Office PL).



Many have compared the new foreign trend on the platform to <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/netflixs-knives-out-3-with-daniel-craig-when-will-wake-up-dead-man-be-released">Knives Out</a>, as there is an inheritance involved in the story, which blends comedy, action, drama and of course, a lot of mystery.



<h2>Inheritance ranked No. 3 on Netflix worldwide</h2>



“Inheritance“, the new crime comedy on Netflix also known as “Spadek”, has managed to secure a good spot within the streaming giant’s Top 10 in a matter of days. It has become the third most-viewed <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> in only three days.

Flix Patrol, the specialized site in metrics and platforms, confirmed during the morning of Friday, June 21st, that the Polish title is not only trending but also one of the audience’s favorites worldwide.



The story follows a family that reunites, after the death of the eccentric inventor Jan Peszek, to inherit his fortune. Unexpectedly, he sets up one last game to test their reconciliation and teamwork.

Two years ago, Variety informed that Donald Sutherland had joined the cast of “Heart Land,” a coming-of-age <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> that promises a rare and unique take on the zombie genre.

The film was being shot in New Zealand and Quebec, Canada, at the time of the announcement, so it is quite possible that Sutherland has already filmed his part. Furthermore, director David Carson emphasized Sutherland’s importance in the movie:



“Rick (the main character) is the emotional heart and anchor of ‘Heart Land,’” says Carson. “And I cannot imagine anyone else but Donald Sutherland playing him. I have admired and been moved by Donald’s wonderful performances for a long time and I know he will bring depth and gravitas to the role and to the movie.”



Set in a world where adults have all been turned into zombies by a mysterious plague, the movie follows two groups of children who must survive without any guidance from their parents.



The release date remains unknown, as the project is still listed as being in pre-production on IMDb, despite Variety’s claims to the contrary. We will keep you updated on any news regarding the film’s progress.

Alongside Ashley, “After” star Hero Fiennes Tiffin and Luke Fetherston also appear. Ashley told Porter that the movie “is like an Indian Bridget Jones.” She also said that “it’s the first time I’ve seen an Indian girl as the lead in this kind of genre. Yes, there’s cultural specificity but never once did we stereotype my heritage or Indian traditions – everyone can watch this and feel a kinship to the character”.



<h3>This Tempting Madness (thriller) | TBD</h3>



She will also star in “This Tempting Madness,” a psychological thriller indie directed by Jennifer E. Montgomery, from her script written with husband Andrew M. Davis. It also serves as Montgomery’s directorial debut.



According to Deadline, the movie follows a young woman (Ashley) who awakens from a coma injured with her memory fractured, and her husband arrested. But as she puts together the pieces of her past, she starts to question her own actions — and her perception of reality.

Speaking to Porter, Ashley revealed that the story is “dark,” and that, at first, she didn’t think she was going to get cast because she wasn’t white. “This was an independent movie and I was so grateful to the producers and to the director – it didn’t matter where I was from; I was just the right actor for the role,” she said.



<h3>F1 Movie with Brad Pitt | June 27, 2025</h3>



Simone Ashley joined the cast of <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/all-we-know-about-brad-pitt-f1-movie">“F1,” the upcoming movie about Formula 1</a>. She will be acting opposite Brad Pitt, who is also a producer, Damson Idris, Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, and Sarah Niles. Some F1 pilots, such as Lewis Hamilton, will also appear in the film.

The movie is based on Carys Bexington’s bestselling book which mashed up two classic stories: Lewis Carroll’s “Alice in Wonderland” and Clement Clarke Moore’s poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas” (also known as “A Visit From St Nicholas”).

And, of course, while Ashley is ready to explore all genres, she is also keen to return as Kate for another season of Bridgerton. She told the press in June 2024 that she and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/jonathan-bailey">Jonathan Bailey</a>, who plays Anthony, “adore” their characters and “their relationship and what they mean for the show.”

She also revealed that both actors will “do all we can with our schedules to make it work so that we can, hopefully.” However, it’s not set in stone, and it would also depend on other factors, explained by showrunner Jess Brownell. “It’ll be dependent on how much story the main couples take up, and whether there is story room. It will be dependent on whether the actors are available,” she told Variety.

However, one of the best films that you can watch on the platform is not on their most-watched lists this week. But it’s definitely a must watch: ‘Dark Waters,’ starring Mark Ruffalo and Anne Hathaway.



‘Dark Waters’ is a legal <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/thriller">thriller</a> which is based on a real-life story of Robert Billott, a lawyer known for his 20-year litigation against the chemical manufacturing corporation DuPont after they contaminated the water of rural towns in West Virginia with unregulated chemicals.



The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a>, which is directed by Todd Haynes, was mostly based on The New York Times Magazine 2016 article, “The Lawyer Who Became DuPont’s Worst Nightmare” by Nathaniel Rich. While it’s not on Netflix’s Top 10, this drama is still one of the most popular titles on streaming this week, according to JustWatch.



<h2>‘Dark Waters,’ a must-watch legal drama based on a true story</h2>



Despite having a star-studded cast and being directed by a renowned filmmaker as Haynes, the movie, which was originally released in 2019, was overlooked by the Oscars and other major awards. However, it was a critical darling, receiving mostly positive reviews for its script, performances and direction.



Ruffalo stars as Billott, while <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/anne-hathaway">Hathaway</a> plays his wife Sarah Barlage Bilott. The rest of the cast includes Tim Robbins, Bill Camp, Victor Garber, Mare Winningham, Bill Pullman, William Jackson, Louisa Krause, Kevin Crowley and Elizabeth Marvel. The movie also includes real victims of the cases, as well.

In the film, we follow how Billott started his long-time legal battle against DuPont, the company mostly known for producing the popular non-stick Teflon pans. One thing about the movie that critics have admired the most is the fact that it doesn’t embellish the true story in the dramatization, sticking mostly to the facts.



And, in words of Ruffalo, the facts are that the film follows “one of the greatest cover-ups in American history, and it affects everyone in the world now, and nobody knows about it,” he told ABC news back in 2019. “PFOA, it’s pretty much everywhere. They first found it in eagle eggs and that’s what kind of raised the alarm in the first place, but they found it everywhere. It’s in polar bears, it’s in 99% of all living creatures on the planet,” he explained.



So, if you’re looking for a daunting legal drama, ‘Dark Waters’ might be the perfect watch as, sadly, it was kind of overlooked at the time of its release. It’s not only a film about a specific case, but about a whole system that still puts us, all of us, in danger.
