<p>This Thai supernatural production from 2023 was adapted from the novel “Tee Yod” by Krittanon. The title of the book refers to a term from a mysterious woman dressed in black, and it has been suggested that it is in the Mon language.</p>



<p>The plot revolves around an older brother who, upon returning to his hometown, must find a way to save his younger sister from a strange illness that is causing her to exhibit unusual behavior.</p>



<p>The cast includes several Thai stars, with notable names such as Nadech Kugimiya, Jelilcha Kapaun, Rattawadee Wongthong, Kajbhunditt Jaidee and Peerakrit Phacharaboonyakiat.</p>



<p>The director, <strong>Taweewat Wantha</strong>, confessed that he was inspired by the unsettling style of the ghost from the classic “The Evil Dead” from 1981. This ghost typically haunts people in a disturbing manner and has crazy ways of tormenting them.</p>

<p>The story follows two armed and hooded individuals who hijack and threaten to blow up Flight 601 unless the Colombian government releases 50 political prisoners and pays them a substantial ransom in cash.</p>



<p>According to Tudum, the episodes are inspired by one of the longest air hijackings in Latin American history, which took place in May 1973. The plot is based on the events surrounding <strong>SAM Colombia Flight HK-1274</strong>.</p>



<p>The real-life events were carried out by Paraguayan footballers who seized the plane and its 84 passengers to demand a ransom of $200,000. Not only was it one of the longest flights but also one of the longest in distance, as it was diverted multiple times.</p>

<p>In the novel, the character of Margaret is replaced by Mrs. Fridge when Nica is 12 years old. Whereas in the movie, she remains as the orphanage director and mistreats the orphans under her care.</p>

<p>The fight between Nica and Lionel happens quite differently in the book compared to the movie. In the adaptation, he is sober but Nica is drunk, and it’s Rigel who tries to defend her, leading to a large-scale fight scene.</p>
