Over the years, Mark Hamill has remained a beloved figure among Star Wars fans, after bringing Luke Skywalker to life, and in the entertainment industry in general, thanks to his versatile talent and on-screen charisma.

However, the franchise created by George Lucas was not his only major success; he has also been involved in multiple hugely popular productions, such as the series The Fall of the House of Usher and The Sandman.

What are Mark Hamill’s next projects?

The Wild Robot | November 10, 2024

The Wild Robot” is an animated fantasy and science fiction film set to hit the big screen on November 10th of this year. It was directed by Chris Sanders, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Brown.

The story is set after a shipwreck and follows an intelligent robot named Roz who becomes stranded on an uninhabited island. To survive the harsh environment, Roz forms bonds with the island’s animals and cares for an orphaned gosling.

Lupita Nyong’o (Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, 12 Years a Slave and Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens) lent her voice to the main character, while Hamill is part of the cast of important characters.

In addition to them, there is a fairly extensive list of talents, including: Pedro Pascal, Catherine O’Hara, Stephanie Hsu, Kit Connor, Bill Nighy, Alexandra Novelle, Matt Berry and Ving Rhames.

Relatively Super

Relatively Super” is the upcoming television movie where we will see Mark Hamill bring to life the character Albert Farthington. It will not only feature live-action parts but also animated moments, making it a hybrid production.

Sonny Dyon is in charge of directing and writing this drama, which takes a look at the lives of the family members of the world’s greatest superheroes. The release date is not yet known.

In addition to the successful actor, the cast will be filled with great talents, and some of the most notable so far include Jon Heder, Michael Dorn, Gary Anthony Williams, Tara Cardinal and Kevin Conroy.

The Life of Chuck

The Life of Chuck” is one of the many upcoming adaptations of Stephen King‘s books that will hit the big screen in the coming years, featuring Mark and other top-level stars.

David Dastmalchian, Karen Gillan, Tom Hiddleston, Molly C. Quinn, Matthew Lillard, Mia Sara, Jacob Tremblay, Chiwetel Ejiofor, Kate Siegel and Annalise Basso are some of the actors in the cast.

The film is in post-production and has been directed by Mike Flanagan, who also co-adapted the screenplay with the iconic writer known for being a master of horror literature.

The story is presented in reverse order and follows Chuck, who travels backward through time viewing his life after he dies. As he witnesses past events, he becomes obsessed with a former student who may possess a special gift.
