Theo James has come back to the screen with “The Gentlemen,” the action comedy series that has taken over Netflix, becoming one of the most popular titles of the platform. The English actor received praise for his performance as Eddie Horniman.
While James is mostly known for his portrayal of Tobias Eaton in The Divergent film series, he has become a TV regular with stints on series such as the drama Golden Boy, the romantic drama The Time Traveler’s Wife and the dramedy The White Lotus.
For the latter, he was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award as Best Supporting Actor. However, he is set to star in another project soon, a supernatural horror film titled “The Monkey.” Here’s what we know about the project, and his other potential roles.

Reported by Deadline, Theo James is set to star in the supernatural horror film written and directed by Osgood Perkins. He will share the screen with Tatiana Maslany, Elijah Wood, Christian Convery, Colin O’Brien, Rohan Campbell and Sarah Levy.
The movie is based on the 1980 short story of the same name by Stephen King, and it will follow two brothers who stumble upon their father’s vintage toy monkey in the attic and then start to witness a string of terrifying deaths.
The Gentlemen Season 2 – TBA
While Netflix hasn’t officially announced a second season of The Gentlemen, Miramax’s Head of Worldwide Television, Marc Helwig, said that they have already started the process for a second installment.
“There are some writers we’ve talked to, certainly lots of discussion with Guy about what he might want to do in a second season, what things to focus on,” he said, according to Boss Hunting.
