The wait is over and Fallout has had its grand debut on Prime Video, where in just a few hours it has become the most-watched series worldwide and in the US. Here, check out the details.

Fallout is the new series on Prime Video that arrived just a day ago and has already become the most-watched on the platform worldwide and in the United States, as expected, especially given its iconic video game origins.

The story is set in a post-apocalyptic retro-futuristic science fiction world where civilization has been devastated by nuclear war, and the events take place in the Wasteland.

The drama has been rated as one of the highest-rated TV shows of recent times by IMDb users. Geneva Robertson-Dworet (Tomb Raider and Captain Marvel) is the creator, along with Graham Wagner (Silicon Valley and The Office).

Fallout ranked No. 1 series on Prime Video

Fallout arrived on Prime Video with a lot of action, drama and high expectations, all of which it easily surpassed, as it has become the most-watched series worldwide and in the US.

According to the specialized site Flix Patrol, the title took just a couple of hours to reach the top of the ranking, displacing other popular productions like Invincible and Reacher.

The story is an adaptation of the iconic video game, which has had multiple sequels and is known for its rich narrative, detailed open world and role-playing game system based on statistics.

This time, the TV show is set in a post-apocalyptic future Los Angeles, where citizens must live in underground bunkers to protect themselves from radiation, mutants, and bandits following nuclear annihilation.

The cast is packed with big stars, many of whom are so well characterized that you don’t really recognize them. Ella Purnell is one of the leads, portraying Lucy MacLean.

The actress known for “Miss Peregrine’s Home for Peculiar Children” was joined by Aaron Moten as Maximus, Walton Goggins as Cooper Howard, Moises Arias as Norm MacLean and Annabel O’Hagan as Stephanie Harper, among others.
