Road House has become a trend again, and this time in a big way, as the remake has become the most-watched movie on Prime Video worldwide and in the United States. Here, check out all the details.

Every week, Prime Video usually updates its catalog and Top 10, adding new titles and some classics. The remake of Road House was one of them, which not only shines worldwide but is currently the most-watched movie.

The recent version of the classic was starred by Jake Gyllenhaal alongside several big industry stars, such as Daniela Melchior and Billy Magnussen. Additionally, Conor McGregor made his acting debut, being the highest-paid.

The project was directed and carried out by Doug Liman, who is also known for other dramas such as Live Die Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise, Fair Game with Naomi Watts and Swingers.

Road House ranked No. 1 movie on Prime Video

Road House has finally had its big streaming debut and not only has it arrived in style, but with just one day of release, it has become the most-watched movie on Prime Video worldwide and in the United States.

According to Flix Patrol, the remake has managed to take the top spot from other well-known titles in the blink of an eye. Ricky Stanicky, Upgraded and the original Road House with Patrick Swayze are some of these.

The story follows Dalton, a former UFC middleweight fighter who ends up working at a noisy bar in the Florida Keys where things are not what they seem. The plot is full of action, intense fights and drama.

Jake Gyllenhaal is the one who brings Dalton, the main character, to life, who faces challenges when trying to restore order in the bar and confront a corrupt local businessman.

Conor McGregor played Knox, while Daniela Melchior portrays Ellie, a doctor and Dalton’s love interest. Billy Magnussen, Lukas Gage, Post Malone and Dominique Columbus were some of the figures who made their presence felt.
