The Deliverance” is the new original Netflix horror thriller that has received an R rating for its real-life based material and the incredible performances of its main stars, such as Glenn Close (Fatal Attraction) and Andra Day (Marshall).

Directed by Lee Daniels (The Butler and The Paperboy), the movie follows a family living in a house in Indiana that discovers strange and demonic occurrences, convincing them and the community that the house is a portal to hell.

The project was written by the director himself along with David Coggeshall and Elijah Bynum, but it is inspired by the “Ammons Haunted House Case“, which gained significant attention in the United States in 2011.
