This week on Netflix US, the comedy “Loudermilk” has climbed to the second spot of the most-streamed chart, according to FlixPatrol. The series arrived on the platform on January 1st, and since then has been gaining popularity. For the third week of January, the series is only behind “Fool Me Once.”

The series follows Sam Loudermilk, portrayed by Ron Livingston, a music journalist who is recovering alcoholic and substance abuse counselor with an extremely bad attitude… About pretty much everything. However, he will try to do his best to put his life back on track.

Loudermilk: How many seasons does the show have?

‘Loudermilk’ first premiered in 2017 on the AT&T Audience Network. However, after the network ceased operations in 2020, the series was left without a home until Prime Video and Netflix acquired the rights this year.

The series has three seasons of 10 episodes each. However, the third season, which was ready before the closing of the network, finally aired this year. However, it’s unclear if the show will have a fourth season.

What did creator Peter Farelly say about Season 4?

Back in 2021, show creator and director Peter Farelly told Deadline that the team was ready to do another season if the show gets picked up by another network. “Everybody wants to come back and do Season 4,” Farrelly said. “We are going to get them back, we are going to do it, we just need to find the right home for it.”

He also told the publication about the plans for the next season, saying that Loudermilk will get his mojo back after writing a successful book in Season 3. “[…] Now the question is, will he have time for that sad, sad group he has been babysitting for the last three years? Will he be able to maintain sobriety now that he is back in the fast lane?”
