After the premiere of the first installment of Rebel Moon, fans of Zack Snyder‘s new masterpiece have been eagerly anticipating the sequel, which has now become a strong trend on Netflix.
The science fiction and action drama was added to the catalog just a day ago and has quickly established itself as the most-watched film on the streaming platform in the United States, according to Flix Patrol.
Despite the mixed reviews the title has received, the filmmaker responsible (also known for 300 and Justice League) confessed that he has plans to continue expanding the franchise, with up to six movies.

Rebel Moon – Part Two: The Scargiver premiered just a day ago and in a matter of hours achieved something few do: becoming the most-watched movie on Netflix in both the United States and worldwide.
According to Flix Patrol, the science fiction drama has been a resounding success, knocking other well-known and original Netflix productions off the top spot, such as the Italian dark romance The Tearsmith.
As expected, all the actors who portrayed the main characters have returned for the sequel. Therefore, Sofia Boutella, Anthony Hopkins, Ed Skrein, Jena Malone, Michiel Huisman and Djimon Hounsou were present.
In the new installment, the story once again follows a colony on the fringes of the galaxy struggling to survive against a tyrannical ruling force, but this time, the plot is filled with drama, adventure and chaos.
