The thriller has been written and directed by Carlo Ledesma, known for other titles like The Tunnel. Sid Lucero leads the story as the monarch of the family in the role of Francis, but he is not the only talented member of the cast.

Will Outside get a sequel on Netflix?
In just two days, “Outside” has not only entered the Top 10 worldwide but has also become one of the favorite movies for the Halloween season. However, Netflix has yet to announce a sequel to the drama.
The psychological horror thriller was added to the catalog relatively recently, so it is still too early to know the future of the production. Although its ending was wrapped up satisfactorily, the material could continue to be explored.
The story follows a family trying to escape the zombie outbreak by returning to the father’s childhood farm, fortifying it to keep “the dead ones” at bay. But in the home, there are just as many horrors and traumas as there are outside of it.
The director and creator of the story, Ledesma, spoke with Netflix about the plot and said: “More than anything, Outside is a story about family. It explores how a family could fall apart, and it played out my worst fears as a father“.
If it performed well in terms of audience and reviews, this could increase the chances of a sequel. Streaming services usually assess public interest before deciding to continue a story.
