With a style very similar to that of Stranger Things (since it is based on a French game), Family Pack had its grand premiere on Netflix and, within hours, it has become the biggest trend on the platform worldwide.

The story stars talents like Jean Reno (Léon: The Professional) and follows a modern family facing an unexpected challenge when a card game transports them to a medieval village, where werewolves are real.

François Uzan (Lupin and En place) is the director of the film, which has been described as a French adaptation of a popular card game created by Philippe des Pallières and Hervé Marly. Here, check if there will be a sequel…

Will Family Pack get a sequel on Netflix?

The movie known in its original language as “Loups-Garous” has arrived on Netflix’s catalog on October 23, making it too soon to determine the future of the story. However, there’s reason to remain hopeful.

In just one day, the drama has become the most-watched film on the platform globally, which is a good sign. Before deciding on a renewal, it is likely that the service will assess whether it is genuinely worth it.

Betting again on a title like François Uzan’s Family Pack is not an easy task, as they first need to check the metrics and the number of views it has garnered, in addition to its popularity among users.

The fantasy production is based on the popular board game Werewolves of Millers Hollow, and according to recent reports, it seems that Netflix is currently focused on the initial release rather than expanding the story into a sequel
