Will Beauty in Black get a sequel on Netflix?

Yes! Although Tyler Perry and Netflix have not exactly confirmed the second season, Tudum reported that the drama will have a second part, meaning there will be more story to explore and the ending is not near.

It’s still a bit early to know when it will debut in the streaming platform’s catalog, as the first batch premiered on October 24. The creator spoke with the site about the second season and said:

I don’t think anybody’s going to be able to figure out where it’s going and how that rise of power happens with Kimmie. It’s going to be mind-blowing for people. Like, ‘Wait a minute, how does she get into power?“.

On the other hand, he also spoke about the agreement he has with the giant and how the new series has been received, which tells the story of a woman fighting to survive and another who runs a successful business. There he said:

I was told many times over many years that Black entertainment doesn’t travel throughout the world. So, to have Netflix continue to disprove that over and over with everything I’ve put on the platform has been phenomenal“.
