Mel Gibson stars in “On The Line,” a 2022 crime thriller film that is currently trending on Netflix in the US. According to the specialized website FlixPatrol, the movie holds the second most-watched title on the platform, just behind Brian Cox’s “Mending the Line.”
Gibson, like other stars such as Liam Neeson, has lately been starring in low-budget thrillers, action films and comedies. Some of his most recent movies include “Father Stu,” alongside Mark Walhberg, “Bandit,” which starred Josh Duhamel, and “Hot Seat.”

What is “On The Line” about?
Romuald Boulanger wrote, produced and directed this movie which stars Gibson as an overnight radio host, Elvis Cooney. It follows him one night in which he has to discover the identity of a mysterious caller who has kidnapped his family and is threatening to kill him, all while on live air.
The film also stars Kevin Dillon as Justin, Enrique Arce as Tony, William Moseley as Dylan, Nadia Farès as Sam Dubois, Alia Seror O’Neill as Mary, Paul Spera as Gary, and Nancy Tate as Olivia.
