According to FlixPatrol, a website which collects viewership from streaming sites, the Indian action thriller “Savi” is one of the most streamed titles worldwide on Netflix. The film currently occupies the eighth place on the most-watched list.
The Hindi-language action thriller was directed by Abhinay Deo, who is known for titles such as “Game” and “Delhi Belly.” The film mixes mythology with modern-day thrills, and it stars Anil Kapoor, Divya Khossla, and Harshvardhan Rane in pivotal roles.
“Savi” is a modern-day retelling of the ancient Indian tale of Savitri and Satyavan, reimagined through the lens of an action thriller. Inspired by the 2008 French movie “Anything for Her,” this narrative follows a simple housewife’s daring attempt to jailbreak her husband from a high-security prison in England.

Anil Kapoor, fresh off his roles in “Animal” (2023) and “Fighter” (2024), plays the husband whose plight sets the story in motion. Divya Khossla, known for her roles in the action thriller “Satyameva Jayate 2” and the romantic drama “Yaariyan 2,” plays the resolute wife. Meanwhile, Harshvardhan Rane completes the leading trio.
Another compelling aspect of the film is the soundtrack, which was composed by Vishal Mishra, Piyush Shankar, Javed-Mohsin, and Arkadeep Karmakar, with lyrics penned by Raj Shekhar, Rashmi Virag, and Ritajaya Banerjee.
