Paul King (Wonka) will direct the project and is currently helping to write the script along with Simon Farnaby and Jon Croker. The character’s origin is in Cinderella, but Deadline reported that it will not be linked to the princess.
The story seems to be designed to reimagine the traditional figure of the “savior” of many princesses like Snow White, while retaining the sense of epic romance and adventure that Disney fans love.
Could Chris Hemsworth play Prince Charming?
There are various speculations about the casting, and although Chris Hemsworth has not been officially linked to the project, his strong presence and experience in action roles would make him a fitting choice for the dynamic tone.
Jeff Sneider from The Insneider reported that there are several rumors indicating that the Thor actor is rumored to be in the running to star in the movie, so we might finally see the Australian star in the role of a prince.

So far, the plot is completely under wraps, but the character has had multiple origins in literature, as reported by Justin Kroll from Deadline. However, Disney always associates him with the love interest of the princesses.
It is expected that if Chris decides to participate in the live-action, the story will be a bit more disruptive and will not focus on the romantic figure, but rather on the adventures of the well-known role and how he became what he is.
