Sebastian Stan and Lily James will reunite for the new film, ‘Let the Evil Go West’, a psychological horror thriller from director Christian Tafdrup (Speak No Evil). This will be their second collaboration after Hulu’s “Pam & Tommy.”
The series were nominated for several Emmy awards, including acting nominations for James and Stan. This year, the Marvel star will be seen in “A Different Man,” a drama that is coming to theaters in September after winning Berlinale’s Silver Bear. He also stars in The Apprentice, which will premiere in competition at the 2024 Cannes Film Festival.
Meanwhile, James is coming fresh from starring in the critically acclaimed “The Iron Heart,” in which she shared the screen with Zac Efron and Jeremy Allen White. She also has many projects lined up such as the comedy Greedy People, Relay and an upcoming biopic about Bumble’s creator.
What is the plot of ‘Let the Evil Go West’?
According to Deadline, the film follows a railroad worker who stumbles upon a fortune under deeply disturbing circumstances. As horrifying visions and manifestations drive him toward madness, his wife becomes convinced that an evil presence has attached itself to their family.
Who is directing the film?
Tafdrup is best known for helming another psychological thriller, “Speak No Evil” (2022), which was a critical hit. Other of his works as director include the drama “Parents” (2016), his directorial debut, and “A Terrible Woman” (2017).

Who is behind the film?
Xc Vs wrote the script. Tim and Trevor White (known for King Richard and Fair Play) are producing under their Star Thrower Entertainment banner. Stan and James will also serve as executive producers, along with Joshua Harris and Ford Corbett from Gramercy Park, and Michael Rothstein and Samuel Hall from north.five.six.
