It Ends with Us” was not only one of Colleen Hoover‘s great books, but it has now become one of the most anticipated romantic movies of 2024, as it will debut in theaters on August 9th.

The drama follows Lily, who believes she has found true love with Ryle, but after a painful incident, past traumas resurface, and she must decide if love alone will save her marriage, even when her first love returns.

The film is not only directed by Justin Baldoni, known for “Jane The Virgin”, but he will also play an important role in the cast, portraying Ryle Kincaid. Blake Lively and Brandon Sklenar join him as Lily Bloom and Atlas Corrigan.

The author herself will serve as co-screenwriter alongside Christy Hall, so it is expected that the story will be very similar or closely resemble the events that occur in the novel, which has been one of the bestsellers since its publication.
