After debuting as Bruce Wayne in Matt Reeves’ “The Batman,” Robert Pattinson had a quieter 2023. While the star made his voice acting debut in the highly-acclaimed Oscar-nominated film “The Boy and The Heron,” he is set to come back to set for several upcoming movies.

Pattinson, who established his production company called Icki Eneo Arlo, also helped produce his first film, alongside Spacemaker Productions: the black comedy Rotting In The Sun, starring Silva and comedian Jordan Firstman.

After the labor strikes affected Hollywood, many projects were delayed or halted. That’s the case for some of the actor’s upcoming films, such as Adam Mckay’s Average Height, Average Build, which is no longer in production at Netflix. But here are the films that he will appear next.

Robert Pattinson’s upcoming projects

Bong Joon Ho’s Mickey7 adaptation (delayed)

The sci-fi thriller is based on Edward Ashton’s novel “Mickey7,” with the film centering around Pattinson’s character as an “expendable” — a disposable worker on a human mission to colonize the icy world of Niflheim. Despite being considered replaceable, he adamantly rejects the idea of letting his clone take over.

Fans got their initial glimpse of the movie in December 2022 when Warner Bros. released a mysterious teaser featuring Pattinson waking up in a chamber. The cast is rounded out by Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo, Naomi Ackie, and Steven Yeun. In addition to directing, Bong Joon-ho also penned the script and serves as a producer. It was supposed to come out this year, but Warner Bros. delayed indefinitely.

The Batman II

Pattinson is confirmed to return as Bruce Wayne in the sequel to The Batman, directed by Reeves. The movie is slated to be released on October 2, 2026 in the United States. Zoë Kravitz, portraying Catwoman, Colin Farrell as The Penguin, and Jeffrey Wright as Gordon, are all anticipated to return to their respective roles.

Originally planned to begin filming in November, the strikes prevented the production from sticking to that schedule. However, filming is now scheduled to commence in March of this year.

Producer for HBO Max

While Pattinson is still very interested in appearing on the big screen, the British star is also building a career behind the camera. He signed, according to Deadline, a “first look” deal with Warner Bros. for Max with his new production company.
