Jacob Elordi went from being just one of the main actors in Euphoria to becoming one of the most sought-after stars by directors in recent months. His latest film release was Saltburn by Emerald Fennell (Promising Young Woman), where he portrayed the eccentric aristocrat Felix Catton.

Although they didn’t confirm it would be the last, it is most likely the case for several actors.
The series creator, Sam Levinson, confirmed a few weeks ago that he is currently writing what will happen in the show, so filming has not started yet. Jacob Elordi, who plays Nate Jacobs, spoke about the title during an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and confessed that he has no idea when he will reunite with his castmates to start filming.
He also joked a bit about the delay and said, “I hope it’s soon or they’re going to have to Benjamin Button me or something. I’m going to have a bad back walking down the hallway”. Undoubtedly, his reunion with Zendaya, Alexa Demie, Sydney Sweeney, Hunter Schafer and Maude Apatow is one of the most anticipated moments for fans of the show.
Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein – 2025
Frankenstein is one of the many monsters Guillermo del Toro had yet to adopt, and finally, we will see him developing a new version of the classic written by Mary Shelley. The cast is not only composed of Jacob Elordi, but he will be joined by Mia Goth, Oscar Isaac, Christoph Waltz, David Bradley and Lars Mikkelsen.
The young actor replaced Andrew Garfield (who was originally offered the role) as The Monster. So far, it is known that Goth will bring to life the love interest of the doctor, while Isaac will be one of the main characters, Dr. Victor Frankenstein.
The story will follow Dr. Pretorius, who needs to locate Frankenstein’s monster, believed to have died in a fire forty years earlier, in order to continue the experiments of the fearless Dr. Frankenstein.
The film has already found a home in Netflix‘s catalog, due to the agreement the director signed with the platform. There is no exact release date yet, but it has been confirmed that it will arrive on the streaming giant at some point in 2025.
Oh, Canada – tba
Oh, Canada will bring together Elordi with Uma Thurman, Richard Gere and other prominent actors in the industry. The drama, directed and written by Paul Schrader, is still not in post-production, so there is no exact release date at the moment.
The story follows Leonard Fife, one of the sixty thousand draft dodgers and deserters who fled to Canada to avoid serving in Vietnam, sharing all his secrets to demystify his mythologized life.
Penelope Mitchell, Kristine Froseth, Michael Imperioli, Aaron Roman Weiner, Victoria Hill, Zach Shaffer, Gary Hilborn, John Way and Ryan Woodle are some of the figures who have joined the cast and will bring to life secondary but significant characters.
On Swift Horses – tba
On Swift Horses is the upcoming romantic drama that will feature Jacob Elordi, Daisy Edgar-Jones and Will Poulter as the main characters. The cowboy-style film was directed by Daniel Minahan, based on a script written by Bryce Kass, adapted from the novel by Shannon Pufahl.
The story follows Muriel and her husband Lee, who are about to start a new life when they are affected by the arrival of Lee’s brother. Muriel embarks on a secret life, betting on racehorses and discovering a love she never believed in.
There is currently no scheduled release date as the film is in post-production, but it is estimated to hit the big screen sometime in 2024 or early 2025.

Not much is known yet about Parallel, Jacob’s upcoming action, suspense, and science fiction thriller. The film will be directed by Tom Green, based on a script written by Steve Lightfoot.

The Narrow Road to the Deep North – 2024
Elordi has proven to be a true star both in cinema and television. His upcoming television production is The Narrow Road to the Deep North, which will premiere its first season at some point in 2024.
There, he will portray Dorrigo Evans and will be accompanied by stars such as Simon Baker, Callum Pritchard, Jack McGreal, Olivia DeJonge, Ciarán Hinds, Odessa Young, Heather Mitchell and Thomas Weatherall, among others.
