Equal parts loved and criticized, “Emily in Paris” is one of Netflix’s most successful shows to date. In fact, it rapidly became the platform’s number one series in 2020 when it aired its first season.
Back then, only a month passed from its initial release to receive an instant renewal by Netflix for a second season. The same pattern repeated with this continuation, which premiered in December 2021 and was not only slated for a third but also for a fourth season just one month later.
The last installment was released at the end of 2022, and fans binge-watched it in just a few hours. Since then, they have been eagerly asking when the fourth season of the series will premiere. And now, we finally have an answer.
Emily in Paris Season 4 release date and First Look
Netflix has just announced that the fourth season of “Emily in Paris” won’t have one, but two release dates, as it’s going to be split into two parts. The first will air on August 15, and the second one on September 12.
Details about the number of episodes in each part still remain undisclosed. However, we can expect them to consist of ten episodes, given the series’ standard format. On June 5, Netflix also released the first images of the fourth season:
Emily in Paris Season 4 cast
According to IMDb, the main returning cast members for this new installment are Camille Razat, Lucas Bravo, Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu, Ashley Park, Samuel Arnold, and Bruno Gouery. Their return was anticipated long time algo since they all had important storylines in the finale of the last season, which will now continue to unfold.
However, some actors who had important roles in previous seasons, such as Lucien Laviscount, William Abadie, and Kevin Dias, are apparently not returning for this one. Lucien’s absence suggests that Emily will embark on a fresh, new journey after her breakup with Alfie.
Emily in Paris Season 4 plot
This upcoming continuation will pick up from the finale of the third season, with Emily emotionally recovering from Gabriel and Camille’s disastrous wedding and the latter’s pregnancy announcement. It will focus on how Emily navigates her relationship with Gabriel after these events, and how she copes with being left by Alfie.
Other secondary plots that will unfold dramatically include Sylvie and Mindy encountering troubles with their respective projects, the Agence Grateau and the band preparing for Eurovision.
