Oscar-winner actor Russell Crowe’s most recent project, Land of Bad, has an official digital release date. The action thriller film, which also stars Liam and Luke Hemsworth, premiered in cinemas on Feb. 16th, and it will land on digital on March 19.

While the movie barely grossed $4.7 million (against a production budget of $18.7 million), it received mostly positive reviews from critics. William Eubank (“The Signal,” “Underwater”) directed and co-wrote the film with David Frigerio.

“Land of Bad” follows a group of Delta Force soldiers who are suddenly attacked in enemy territory with the only help of an Air Force drone pilot who becomes their eyes in the sky during a brutal 48-hour fight. Milo Ventimiglia also stars.

Where will be ‘Land of Bad’ on streaming?

As we said, the film will be available to purchase or rent on digital platforms such as Prime Video, Youtube, Apple and more on March 19th, however its path to streaming on-demand is less clear.

The movie is distributed in the United States by The Avenue, which is part of the Highland Film Group. According to TheDirect, most of their movies have ended up streaming on Hulu, despite having a deal with Paramount to handle at-home distribution.

When it comes to when, most of the films have been released on streaming around the 117 to 217 days after their theatrical release. So, Land of Bad could come to streaming anywhere from mid-June to mid-September 2024.

However, it’s not guaranteed that the film will be released on Hulu. It could also land on Starz first, as it was the case for “The System.” However, almost six months later, it landed on the Disney-owned streaming service.
