Netflix‘s new series, “Supacell,” is definitely sparking conversations among users. In just a few hours, the show has skyrocketed to the top spots in the United States.
Helmed by Rapman, the series revolves around a group of ordinary people from South London who unexpectedly develop superpowers, with their only connection being that they are all Black. As they navigate the impact on their daily lives, one man must bring them together to protect the one he loves, all while evading powerful and evil agents who have noticed their special abilities.
The cast delivers spectacular performances, prompting significant interest in the actors. Particularly, Josh Tedeku, who plays Tazer, has been hailed by many as the next Daniel Kaluuya.

According to an interview with The Face, Josh Tedeku is 5’11” and 21 years old. Despite his young age, he has already starred in seven productions, some of which are quite renowned.
As stated in his resume provided by the management agency Hamilton Hodell, he currently resides in London. Tedeku has worked in movies, series, and theatre, including starring in a workshop of “London Tide” at the National Theatre Studio.
He attended Burnt Mill Academy, where he won the 2019 regional final of the Jack Petchey Speak Out Challenge. He was one of 15 out of 20,000 students to make it to the grand final with his speech about saving the planet before it’s too late.

As mentioned earlier, Josh Tedeku’s career is still in its early stages, but he has already been part of some notable projects. Before “Supacell,” he starred in “Boarders,” which is available on Tubi. The title follows five underprivileged students from inner-city London who win scholarships to an elite boarding school, thrusting them into an unfamiliar world.
In 2022, Tedeku played Wish in “Moonhaven,” a sci-fi drama focused on Bella Sway, a lunar cargo pilot and smuggler 100 years in the future.
