Far from going unnoticed, Tosin Cole has returned to the spotlight thanks to his new sci-fi series, which has become one of the most-watched on Netflix worldwide and in the United States: Supacell.

Superheroes, action and plenty of drama characterize this intriguing story that follows his character, Michael Lasaki. He belongs to a group of people who unexpectedly develop superpowers.

The American actor is known for several prominent roles in television and film, but in recent years, he has been expanding his filmography with major productions, such as the upcoming biopic Bob Marley: One Love.

Tosin Cole’s age, height and nationality

Tosin Cole was born on July 23, 1992, in California, so he holds American nationality, but he also has Nigerian heritage through his parents. He is currently 31 years old and stands 1.82 m tall.

Despite being born in California, he moved to New York with his family and was raised there until his parents decided to relocate again, settling in London when he was around 8 or 9 years old.

Tosin Cole’s love life

Tosin is one of the many stars who prefers to keep his private life just that: private. Therefore, his relationships tend to be quite a mystery. It is believed that the actor is currently single.

However, Cole is not afraid of commitment, as he has been seen deeply involved in his work and portraying characters with emotional responsibility. So far, no public relationships have been attributed to him.

Tosin Cole’s filmography

The star began his career in the entertainment industry with The Cut and EastEnders: E20, a spin-off of the British drama EastEnders. The role required him to learn how to dance and at the time he confessed that it was really stressful.

He continued adding titles to his filmography over the years, and one of the most successful was Hollyoaks, where he appeared as one of the main characters, playing Neil Cooper, one of the show’s six new characters.

However, his jump to international fame didn’t come until he joined the series Doctor Who in 2018, where he portrayed Ryan Sinclair and was the lead until 2021, appearing in 22 episodes.

One of his latest projects was Supacell, Netflix’s superhero drama, where he returned as the lead of the plot, playing Michael Lasaki throughout the entire first season, which has been a major hit.
