Season 26 of The Voice is here, and there, besides having your guide to The Voice’s upcoming episodes, we also have the scoop on the show’s upcoming advisors to coaches Gwen Stefani, Reba McEntire, Snoop Dogg and Michael Bublé. And, if you even wondered, these are the salaries of The Voice judges unveiled.
As always, “The Voice” coaches invite some artists to serve as advisors or mentors during the Battle Rounds or the Knockout rounds. These musicians can offer valuable guidance on vocal techniques or stage presence, helping contestants elevate their performances to the next level.
Last season, there weren’t any advisors during the Battle Rounds, except for Dan + Shay, who replaced Niall Horan, as he had scheduling conflicts. However, Wynnona Jud and Chance The Rapper came out later in the season to give a hand to the contestants, who were still looking for the big win (and here’s what you win as The Voice champion).
The Voice 2024 coaching advisors: Who will help?
Well, as of September 14th, not much is known about who has been chosen to take on the role of Knockout Advisors for season 26. Last season, it was Keith Urban, so it would have to be a major star.
During the Knockout Rounds, artists are paired with a team member, but each sings a different song. Urban had previously appeared on the show as a mentor for Blake Shelton in season 15.
He has also been judge on American Idol. Some of the most iconic advisors that have been on the show include Taylor Swift, Stevie Nicks, Ryan Tedder, Dua Lipa, Luis Fonsi and more.
Of course, many advisors have ended up becoming coaches. For example, Nick Jonas appeared as an advisor for Christina’s team in season 8, and later became a coach in season 18. Miley Cyrus was also an advisor in season 10 before becoming a judge the following season.
