<p>Finally, it has been revealed that the music star who will serve as the Mega Mentor for Season 25 of The Voice is <strong>Keith Urban</strong>, according to the show’s official website. He has taken on the role and will shine in the Knockouts.</p>

<p><strong>Starting from the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-schedule">episode airing on April 8th</a></strong>, the country singer will guide the artists who have advanced from the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-season-25-spoilers-which-contestants-won-the-battle-rounds">Battle Rounds</a> of each team and who will prepare for the Knockouts, where they will be paired with a teammate.</p>



<p>These <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-2024-contestants-here-the-complete-list-of-season-25-performers">contestants</a> will have to select their own songs to perform individually. If they are fortunate enough, the coaches will choose them to advance to the Playoffs, the final round before the live shows.</p>



<p>Urban will not only be assisting the participants but will also be promoting his <strong>upcoming studio album</strong>, which will be released on platforms by the end of 2024. This will feature singles such as <em>“Straight Line”</em> and “<em>Messed Up As Me</em>“.</p>

Just a few episodes ago, the blind auditions were concluded, and now it’s time for the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-2024-contestants-here-the-complete-list-of-season-25-performers">contestants</a> to start competing against each other.</p>



<p>The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-2024-who-will-be-the-coaches-for-season-25-heres-all-you-need-to-know-20240131-SPEN-3795.html">coaches</a> have already <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/how-are-the-voice-2024-teams-made-up-all-about-the-election-of-the-coaches">formed their teams</a>, each of them with a total of ten artists. The competition started with 40 participants, but not anymore, as each judge will have to reduce their members by eliminating some.</p>



<p><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-schedule">Following the battle rounds are the Knockouts</a>, so only the best will secure a spot. Both <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/celebrities/reba-mcentires-net-worth-how-much-is-the-singers-fortune-20240211-SPEN-5497.html">Reba McEntire</a></strong> and her fellow coaches have the opportunity to steal and grant the Playoff pass from now on.</p>



<h2>Who did the coaches choose? The Battle Round winners</h2>



<p>As happens in each of the editions, <strong>the battle rounds start with 40 artists</strong>, who are the ones chosen for each of the teams during the blind auditions. Now, the <strong>coaches must pair up their artists to perform unforgettable duets</strong> and earn a spot in the next phase.</p>

<p>At the end of the competitions against each other, the judges must choose a winner, who will continue in the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/reality-shows">reality show</a> and on their team. <strong>The loser is automatically eliminated unless they are stolen by another coach</strong>. In that case, they join a new team.</p>



<p>The <strong>Playoff pass </strong>is back in play during season 25, and the five judges will have only one chance to use it. This serves to save their own eliminated contestant and send them directly to the Playoffs. If there is a steal and one of these moves, the pass will always win.</p>

Thanks to its unique format, in which contestants are judged in a “<a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-schedule">blind audition</a>” and then divided into teams, the show is one of the most popular among viewers… Even <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/the-voice-vs-american-idol-ratings">comparing its rating vs. American Idol</a>.</p>



<p>Part of the appeal, of course, it’s to watch some of the most renowned music stars, such as<strong> Christina Aguilera</strong> or <strong>Pharrell</strong>, give advice to their artists. While the show has been very popular, many people wonder if <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/has-the-voice-made-anyone-famous">The Voice has ever produced anyone famous</a>.</p>



<p>The truth is that, despite receiving some solid rewards as <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/tv/famous-american-idol-winners">The Voice winners</a>, not all the champions have become big stars. <h2>Season 1 – Javier Colon (Team Adam)</h2>



<p>The first The Voice winner ever (in America, at least) was Javier Colon, who took home the title back in 2011. Following his time on The Voice, Colon continued recording music and touring around the country. He’s released two albums: 2011’s Come Through For You and his 2016 album, Gravity.</p>



<h2>Season 2 – Jermaine Paul (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>Since winning Season 2, Paul has kept a low profile. His most recent music releases on Spotify and YouTube include the single “Water” from 2019, preceded by “Working Sista” in 2015. Per NBC Insider, on his LinkedIn profile, he identifies himself as the current CEO of CJAS Music.</p>



<h2>Season 3 – Cassadee Pope (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>In Season 3, Cassadee Pope became the first woman to win the show. Before The Voice, she sang in the band Hey Monday. After triumphing with a country sound, she has returned to her pop-punk roots, releasing the grunge single “People That I Love Leave” in 2023.</p>



<h2>Season 4 – Danielle Bradbery (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>Danielle Bradbery’s impressive vocals made her the fourth winner of the show. After winning, she released a self-titled album in 2013 and worked with musicians such as  Diplo, Thomas Rhett, and Nick Jonas. Her latest single was “A Special Place,” released in 2023.</p>



<h2>Season 5 – Tessanne Chin (Team Adam)</h2>



<p>Tessanne Chin joined Team Adam and quickly became one of the fan-favorite contestants of the season. After winning, she released two studio albums, in 2023 she welcomed her second daughter, and became a producer. She has also released new music under the record label Natural High Jamaica.</p>



<h2>Season 6 – Josh Kaufman (Team Usher)</h2>



<p>Kaufman was first part of Team Adam, but when he lost in the battle rounds, Usher saved him. And that proved to be the right decision. After winning The Voice, Kaufman released his first album and then went to participate in Broadway plays.</p>



<h2>Season 7 – Craig Wayne Boyd (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>After winning on The Voice, Boyd dropped a hit, “My Baby’s Got a Smile on her Face,” which shot to No. 1 on the country charts that December. In 2017, he put out his studio album, Top Shelf, sticking to his love for country music. And in 2023, he released the sweet song “One Last Line” as a Valentine’s Day gift for his wife.</p>



<h2>Season 8 – Sawyer Fredericks (Team Pharrell)</h2>



<p>Sawyer Fredericks gave Pharrell his first win to date, back in 2015. Since then, he has released several albums and EPs, including his most recent “The Golden Tree” in 2023. His both debut releases scored him placements on the Billboard Hot 200.</p>



<h2>Season 9 – Jordan Smith (Team Adam)</h2>



<p>Jordan Smith was one of the favorites to win the title from the beginning. After winning The Voice, he represented his home state of Kentucky in the American Song Contest in 2022. He has released three albums, including his Christmas album ‘Tis the Season.</p>



<h2>Season 10 – Alisan Porter (Team Christina)</h2>



<p>Christina Aguilera scored her first win as a coach thanks to Alisan Porter. Season 10 winner stays connected with her fans through Instagram, sharing regular updates. She’s also keeping busy with live performances and dropping new music, like her 2023 single “Meant for Me.”</p>



<h2>Season 11 – Sundance Head (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>After winning The Voice, Head dropped his debut album, Stained Glass and Neon, in 2019. He then released his second album in 2022, titled “Starting Again.” In 2024, he is touring and fans can get tickets on his website.</p>



<h2>Season 12 – Chris Blue (Team Alicia)</h2>



<p>In Season 12, coach Alicia Keys scored her first win thanks to Chris Blue. While he hasn’t released a full album, he has published several singles including 2017’s “Blue Blood Blues” and “Humanity,” as well as his 2019 release “You Are My Heaven.” Blue’s most recent release was the 2021 single “Moon,” a pop-R&amp;B bop.</p>



<h2>Season 13 – Chloe Kohanski (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>Kohanski started the season as a member of Team Miley, but after he lost in the Knockouts, Shelton saved her. After winning The Voice, she changed her stage name to “chloe mk” and has continued to release music.</p>



<h2>Season 14 – Brynn Cartelli (Team Kelly)</h2>



<p>Known for singles such as “Girl Code,” Season 14 winner Cartelli released her first EP, Based on a True Story, in 2021. In 2023,  Cartelli released two new singles: “Secondhand Smoke” and “Lucky to Love You.”</p>



<h2>Season 15 – Chevel Shepherd (Team Kelly)</h2>



<p>After her victory, Shepherd has put out a bunch of catchy singles, including her 2020 hit “Just Like the Circus,” which she co-wrote with Musgraves. She’s also dropped two albums on Spotify: her 2020 holiday album, A Good Ol’ Country Christmas, and 2021’s Everybody’s Got a Story.</p>



<h2>Season 16 – Maelyn Jarmon (Team John)</h2>



<p>Jarmon dropped the song “Wait For You” after winning Season 16 of The Voice. But lately, she’s been more into musical theater. She’s set to play Cathy in Core Theatre Group’s production of The Last Five Years in 2024, as per her Instagram updates.</p>



<h2>Season 17 – Jake Hoot (Team Kelly)</h2>



<p>Hoot keeps making new music and playing gigs all over the country. Some of his popular songs include “Tennessee Strong” and “I Would’ve Loved You,” where he teamed up with Clarkson.</p>



<h2>Season 18 – Todd Tilghman (Team Blake)</h2>



<p>After winning The Voice, Tilghman returned to his small town in Mississippi and released several singles as well as a holiday EP. That same year, Shelton invited Tilghman to join him for a performance at the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville.</p>



<h2>Season 19 – Carter Rubin (Team Gwen)</h2>

So, the short answer to the question is that no, <strong>contestants don’t dress themselves</strong>. They have help from a whole glam team, including Erin Hirsh, a costume designer.</p>



<p>Speaking to NBC Insider,<strong> Hirsh </strong>explained her process to help contestants on their wardrobe choices. She said that <strong>she takes into consideration what the contestant and what production wants</strong>, and tries to come up with an idea that meshes the two visions.</p>

<p>Of course, this process starts once the singers are selected to one of the teams. At first, they present to the blind auditions with their own clothes. However, per Hirsh, she mostly does <em>“online [sourcing] now”</em> to get pieces for the cast, as she said to NBC Insider.</p>

<p>Apart from Hirsh, contestants also count on<strong> Darcy Gilmore</strong>, the Makeup Department Head/Talent Grooming, as well as <strong>Jerilynn Stephens</strong>, the Hair Department Head. Together, the trio are responsible for ensuring that contestants look their best while trying to pursue the title.</p>



<p>When it comes to hair and makeup, the most difficult part for the team is ensuring that the makeup is perfect for the HD cameras that are used on the show, as well as making sure that the hairstyle looks “polished” with all the lights that are on the set.</p>



<p>However, it’s worth noting that contestants had to dress themselves and do their own makeup after the show returned during the COVID pandemic. But, don’t worry, the team provided instructions on how to do it over Zoom, and even got some lessons if needed.</p>
