2024 has undoubtedly been a standout year for Damian Hardung. Although the German actor has been in the spotlight for some time, with 27 acting credits to his name, he gained international fame through Prime Video‘s hit “Maxton Hall,” cementing his status as one of Germany’s most sought-after stars.

His upcoming projects are just as thrilling. Currently, he’s working on “Into the Deep Blue,” a drama where he plays a man trying to rebuild his life after the death of his mother and a DUI, who unexpectedly falls for his best friend from therapy. He’s also appearing in “Softies,” a dramedy about three men in their mid-twenties navigating the obstacles of this complex era of adulthood.

However, his most anticipated project is “Love Sucks,” a steamy romance series where he portrays a vampire who falls in love with a human. With the show about to debut on ZDFneo, Hardung shared behind-the-scenes photos on Instagram to celebrate its upcoming release!

In the production, Hardung plays Ben, a sensitive and refined vampire who crosses paths with Zelda, a fierce fighter trained by her father to take on challengers at the family boxing ring. Despite their instant connection, their love faces complex obstacles due to their families’ deep-rooted rivalry, reminiscent of “Romeo and Juliet”.

But don’t celebrate yet! For now, the title is only set to air on ZDFneo in Germany. There’s speculation that Prime Video could pick up the show, given Hardung’s rising star status, but nothing has been confirmed yet. In the meantime, check out the behind-the-scenes photos he shared to celebrate the series’ European release!
