Our favorite reality show is back to grace our screens once more! “Big Brother” returns to its usual streaming service and channels with its 26th season, and we are definitely ready to witness housemates fighting tooth and nail for the $750,000 prize.

The schedule is already set, and Julie Chen will return once more as the host. At first glance, it looks like there won’t be many twists and turns this time. However, spoilers from insiders suggest otherwise!

As we wait for this installment to develop, let’s take a look back at our favorite seasons to reminisce about the best moments of the program and remember the high bar set for 2024!

What are the best seasons of Big Brother?

5) Season 2

There wouldn’t be “Big Brother” in the United States if it hadn’t been for Season 2. This was the installment that brought success to the franchise, allowing it to continue for years. As its widely known, it introduced the format we still enjoy today.

While we could keep applauding the changes and explaining how taking the power of voting from the public and giving it to the housemates changed reality TV forever, we can’t forget the iconic winner of this season, Will Kirby. He taught the audience what a tough game truly is and had no problem being the villainous outcast.

4) Season 20

Some fans rank Season 20 of “Big Brother” among the best, while others think it shouldn’t even make the top 10. The truth is, it was quite a problematic installment, and the strategies to win were rather messy. However, this disorganization also made the game very fun to watch, which is why we choose to place it in our top 5.

At the end of the day, what matters most are the cast members who end up being remembered for providing great entertainment. The gameplay of Tyler, Kaitlyn, and Bayleigh, along with the underdog alliance FOUTTE, are just some of the highlights from this season that we will never forget.

3) Season 7

How could we not give a high spot to the season that introduced the first All-Stars? Not only was it interesting to see houseguests return, adding a unique twist to the game, but it also meant the comeback of some of the franchise’s most beloved players, such as Janelle, Will Kirby, and Mike Malin.

Additionally, this season was the first to feature randomized Power of Veto players and a Double Eviction, both of which are now staples in “Big Brother.” And let’s not forget the iconic return of Chilltown and the entertainment provided by The Legion of Doom and The Sovereign Six.

2) Season 14

Season 14 of “Big Brother” consistently ranks in the Top 2 among fans. First of all, it featured an outstanding cast of newbies and four highly respected players from previous seasons—Dan, Britney, Boogie, and Janelle—who entered the game as coaches and later became fierce competitors.

But that was just the beginning. From Frank remaining an enemy of the house while avoiding eviction week after week to Ian sending his coach and ally, Boogie, out the door, each episode was better than the last. And, of course, we can’t forget the best moment in “Big Brother” history: Dan Gheesling’s iconic funeral.

1) Season 10

Sometimes, the best seasons of “Big Brother” are those with minimal manipulation from the production team, and Season 10 exemplified this the best, delivering its most authentic version to viewers and keeping them on the edge of their seats with the natural feuds between houseguests.

Where to start? This installment gave us Dan Gheesling, who became the first contestant to have no eviction votes against him all season and then won in a unanimous vote. Additionally, there was Renny, Keesha, Jessie, and Jerry, whose different personalities and clashes added incredible spice to the game. This cast didn’t get along well, making it absolutely the best. And, of course, two words: Keesha’s birthday.
