American Idol premieres on Sunday, February 18th at 8 PM EST, and can be watched on ABC. The following day, all episodes will be added to Hulu‘s catalog, according to the reality show’s website and Collider.

The competition has changed quite a bit over its 12 years in existence, with different judging panels and even a different network (previously on FOX). However, the format of the competition remains the same.

Season 22 will not only showcase talented artists seeking an opportunity and a musical career, but it will also tell their personal stories—how they have reached where they are and what their true dreams are.

The preview of the new episodes garnered a lot of attention, as it was different from those of previous editions. This time, it paid homage to The Wizard of Oz, with the judges taking on the lead roles from the movie.

Perry as Dorothy, Richie as the Cowardly Lion, Bryant as the Scarecrow and Seacrest as the Tin Man. Without a doubt, the 2024 version promises to be quite entertaining, so don’t miss it!
