Missing the awards season? Well, it’s time to put on your best clothes and get the popcorn ready because this weekend the 76th Emmy Awards will take place at the Peacock Theater in LA Live.
The center of Los Angeles will be filled with celebrities and renowned artists, such as Selena Gomez, who will first walk the much-anticipated red carpet and then head to their seats to kick off the ceremony.
Any show that aired between June 1 of last year and May 31 of this year was eligible, but it was “Shōgun” with Cosmo Jarvis and Hiroyuki Sanada that received the most nominations, with a total of 25.
Who is the host of the Emmys 2024?
Vogue reported that this year the father-son duo from Schitt’s Creek, Eugene Levy and Dan Levy, have been chosen to host the 2024 Emmys ceremony. So, the night will be truly fun and eloquent.
The stars spoke about the role they’ve been given and in a statement confessed “For two Canadians who won our Emmys in a literal quarantine tent, the idea of being asked to host this year in an actual theater was incentive enough“.
They concluded the statement by sharing how they feel, saying “We’re thrilled to be able to raise a glass to this extraordinary season of television and can’t wait to spend the evening with you all“.

When and at what time are the Emmys 2024?
The 76th Emmy Awards will take place on Sunday, September 15 at 8 PM EST. Only eight months have passed since the last ceremony, but that’s because the 2023 event was held in January this year due to the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes.
