<p>“<strong>The Bride</strong>“, the upcoming <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies">movie</a> directed by <strong>Maggie Gyllenhaal</strong>, is not the first nor the last adaptation related to Frankenstein, but it is one of the most anticipated, along with <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix/netflixs-frankenstein-release-date-cast-and-plot-of-jacob-elordis-new-film-20240110-SPEN-1121.html">Guillermo del Toro’s film</a>.</p>



<p>The filmmaker will not only be in charge behind the scenes but will also be adapting the screenplay, which is inspired by the novel written by <strong>Mary Shelley</strong>. The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> tells an intriguing story with plenty of romance and <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/horror">horror</a>.</p>



<p><strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/christian-bale">Christian Bale</a></strong> will bring Frankenstein’s Monster to life, while<strong> Jessie Buckley</strong> will join him as the co-lead in the role of The Bride. <h2>When will The Bride be released?</h2>



<p>Not only have the first images of <strong>The Bride</strong> been shared, where we see <strong>Christian Bale </strong>as the monster, but also the release date for the drama on the big screen has been revealed. So far, <strong>it is scheduled for release on October 3, 2025</strong>.</p>

<p>The story is set in 1930s Chicago and follows Frankenstein, who seeks help from Dr. Euphronius to create a companion. They bring to life a murdered woman as The Bride, sparking romance, police interest and a radical social change.</p>



<p><strong>Jessie Buckley</strong> will portray The Bride, while <strong>Penélope Cruz</strong> will bring Myrna to life. So far, they are the only actors whose roles have been revealed. <strong>Julianne Hough</strong>, <strong>Annette Bening</strong> and <strong>Peter Sarsgaard</strong> are also part of the cast.</p>

<p>It is still too early to know if <strong>The Tearsmith</strong> has been renewed, as the platform determines sequels based on multiple factors such as completion rate, production costs and number of viewers.</p>



<p>It is unlikely that the title will receive a second installment, because there is only one book. If it is renewed, the <strong>screenwriters will have to develop a story from scratch</strong> that connects well with the closed ending of the first.</p>
