<p>According to the metrics-focused site Flix Patrol, <strong>Strays</strong> is not only the new comedy shining in the <strong>Prime Video</strong> catalog but has also been classified as the most-watched movie in the United States just one day after its release on the platform.</p>

<p>Now, it’s the dog comedy that has captured the attention, hearts, and laughter of users. The story follows a dog abandoned by its useless owner who then finds a gang of strays to help him get revenge on this waste of space.</p>



<p>Like any comedy production, the narrative has several key elements: witty and sharp dialogue, elements of satire and social criticism, visual gags, comedic situations, cultural references and quick, sarcastic exchanges between the main canine characters and their respective owners.</p>



<p>IMDb confirmed that 95% of the movie featured real dogs, and the voice cast is composed of industry giants. <strong>Will Ferrell</strong>, <strong>Jamie Foxx</strong>, <strong>Isla Fisher</strong>, <strong>Randall Park</strong>, <strong>Sofia Vergara</strong> and <strong>Josh Gad</strong> are among them.</p>



<p>The list is quite extensive, and those appearing as human characters are limited to <strong>Will Forte</strong>, who voices Doug, Reggie’s owner, <strong>Brett Gelman</strong>, who plays Willy and <strong>Charity Cervantes</strong>, who<strong> </strong>plays Jenna.</p>

<p>Director <strong>Josh Greenbaum</strong> opened up in an interview with ComicBook about what it was like working with two great comedic actors like <strong>Will Ferrell</strong> and <strong>Jamie Foxx</strong> on the film released in 2023. He expressed that witnessing them act together was a great experience and that, with all the years he has worked in the industry, it has given him moments he will never forget.</p>



<p><em>“They do a session, and they read their lines in front of a director like me, and I’m not a professional actor. So, having a Will Ferrell, not just because he’s so good at playing that sweet, innocent, and naive Reggie/Buddy the Elf, which is a great reference. </em></p>



<p><em>But, knowing that, when he wants to go head-to-head with Jamie Foxx, who is an incredible comedian, and Isla Fisher or Randall Park. And I put them all in a room. <p>Once he brought them together in the same room, the chemistry and the rest were history. The cast flowed naturally, and the story and improvisations evolved to the final result: Strays. To conclude the conversation, the filmmaker added:</p>



<p><em>“That’s why you love him because it’s like he comes up with a joke, a take, or a delivery of something you never saw coming. At one point, Jamie and Will were together in a session, and I’ll never forget it. [They] had never worked together, and it was like watching these two comedy giants hit the ball back and forth. </em></p>



<p><em>At one point, I think we had a break to go to the bathroom, and I said, ‘Man, everything’s going great,’ and Jamie looks at me and says, ‘You know, how Will is? He’s an amazing knuckleball pitcher. You just don’t know. He’s got every fastball; he’s got all the jokes. But whatever he throws at you, it’s different every time. It’s fresh, and it keeps you on your toes.’ I love that analogy”</em>.</p>

<p><em>All of Us Strangers</em> is by no means a bland drama; instead, it combines a torrid romance between the main characters with a painful memory that lingers between the living and the dead. These elements have turned it into an emotional epic, making it one of the best titles of 2023.</p>



<p>The novel <em>Strangers</em>, which served as the basis for the film, tells the story of a screenwriter named Adam who, after an encounter with his neighbor Harry, returns to his childhood home. There, he discovers that his parents, who died long ago, are still alive and appear to be the same age as the day they passed away.</p>

<h2>All of Us Strangers was a very personal project for the cast</h2>



<p>The <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a> is set in contemporary London, where Adam, played by <strong>Andrew Scott</strong>, experiences a chance encounter with Harry, an enigmatic neighbor played by <strong>Paul Mescal</strong>. The director himself noted that the feature is one of his most personal creations. </p>



<p>According to Curzon, the filmmaker confessed in an interview that he tried to make the audience feel something with the title. It was very special for him because it was filmed in his childhood home, with very personal themes. Also, <strong>Haigh</strong> emphasized the <em>“emotional reality”</em> present in the intimate scenes between the characters, as it is an aspect that is often overlooked. </p>

<p>Season 28 of <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/the-bachelor">The Bachelor</a></strong> is underway, and lead <strong>Joey Graziadei</strong> will keep getting to know the women that are competing for his love. <p>According to Reality Steve, the winners of the “Bachelor Open” (which they play in Halloween costumes) are Kelsey and Evalin. However, it was <strong>Katelyn DeBacker </strong>who got the rose of the group date. In the one-on-one date, Jenn Tran and Joey went surfing and she got the rose.</p>

<p>The drama series <strong>“Expats,”</strong> starring <strong>Nicole Kidman</strong>, is currently the fourth most-watched <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/category/series">series</a></strong> on <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/prime-video">Prime Video</a></strong> in the US and worldwide, according to<strong> FlixPatrol</strong>. The first two episodes of the show arrived on the platform on Jan. 26, and its popularity has grown.</p>



<p><strong>Lulu Wang</strong>, known for her critically acclaimed film <strong>“The Farewell,”</strong> directs the show, which is based on Janice Y.K. Lee’s 2016 novel The Expatriates. <h2>When do new episodes of ‘Expats’ come out?</h2>



<p>Wang takes us back and forth in time to reveal how these three women are linked and how everything went wrong. The three following episodes will be released weekly every Friday, with the<strong> finale coming out Feb. 23</strong>.</p>



<p>In an interview with <strong><em>NPR,</em></strong> Wang explained that one of the reasons she made the show was because she, as an immigrant in the US, connects with the themes of the story. <em>“I saw that parallel in the journey of Hong Kong and what my family had experienced. It’s the reason that I’m here today.<strong> So are you grateful for it? Do you resent it? </strong>I mean, there’s no easy answer, but it certainly has influenced so much,” </em>she said.</p>

<p>Wang also explained that, unlike other series with rich people at their center (Succession, for example), she wanted to also give space for the working-class characters and servers.<em> “I think that it’s difficult to make a show about privilege and in a world of privilege <strong>without feeling like you’re celebrating i</strong>t,”</em> she said.</p>



<p>However, while she said she is <strong><em>“very conscientious”</em></strong> about that, she also tried <em><strong>“not to judge the privilege.”</strong></em> She wanted to break “the bubble,” but also asking the audience “to make their own” judgements.</p>

<p><strong>“The Vow,”</strong> a <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/romance">romantic</a> <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/drama">drama</a></strong> starring <strong>Channing Tatum</strong> and <strong>Rachel McAdams</strong>, is currently the number 1 movie on <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/netflix">Netflix</a></strong> in the US, according to FlixPatrol (as Feb. 4th, 2024). The film originally was released in 2012, and it has remained a favorite for fans of the genre.</p>



<p>McAdams stars as Paige, who after a traffic accident, wakes up after a coma and has <strong>forgotten her husband Leo</strong> (Tatum) and the life they had together. However, he is determined to <em>win her heart back once again</em>.</p>



<p>The <strong><a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/category/films">film</a></strong> was directed by Michael Sucsy, and it also has S<strong>am Neill, Scott Speedman, Jessica Lange </strong>and<strong> Jessica McNamee</strong> in supporting roles. While it received mixed reviews from critics, it was a box office success (grossing over $190 million worldwide) and it seems to still have a second-life on streaming.</p>

<h2>The real story that inspired ‘The Vow’</h2>



<p>“The Vow” is loosely based on the true story of <strong>Kim and Krickitt Carpenter</strong>, who also wrote a book about their relationship. They married in September 1993, and two months later they were involved in a serious <strong>car accident on Thanksgiving</strong>.</p>



<p>As depicted by the movie, Krickitt suffered a brain trauma and when she woke up 21 days later, she didn’t remember her husband or their marriage. While Kim tried to help her recover her memory, nothing worked and he decided to court her again. Two years and countless dates later, the <strong>couple remarried.</strong></p>

<p>When promoting the film back in 2012, Tatum said to SFG that <em>“Leo’s a victim as well, even though he didn’t go through the windshield. <strong>He has to live with all those beautiful moments that are now gone</strong>, that he essentially has to erase in his mind.”</em></p>



<p>While the film ends up on a positive note, <strong>Carpenter’s story ended up differently</strong>. In 2018, the couple announced that they were divorcing after Kim had an affair. Krickett told <strong>“Inside Edition” </strong>at the time that the affair “was shocking and surprising.”</p>



<p>They have two children: a son, Danny, born in 2000 and a daughter, Lee Ann born in 2003. “Inside Edition” reported that Krickett moved into a townhouse with her daughter, while her son moved in with<strong> Kim.</strong></p>
