What began as a small event to bid farewell to Jane’s Addiction has become an enduring phenomenon. This month, Paramount+ aims to capture the hearts of music fans with the three-part documentary “Lolla: The Story of Lollapalooza,” which delves into the history of the world’s most famous festival.

Perry Farrell, Ted Gardner, Don Muller, and Marc Geiger conceived it festival in 1990. Naturally, Farrell is one of the main voices in the docu-series, which chronicles the festival’s journey from its inception to its current status as the monument of music globally.

Of course, Lollapalooza wouldn’t be what it is today without the artists who have graced its stages. Many of them share their insights and experiences in the documentary, either through interviews or archival footage of their performances. Here, check all the details.
