The story is set in high society London in the early 19th century and follows (in its early episodes) Daphne, who has been prepared since birth to debut among the aristocrats in search of a husband.

Drama, romance, love, adventure, wealth and betrayal are some of the many elements that characterize the narrative, not only of the TV show produced by Shonda Rhimes but also of the eight volumes of the original novel.

The series created by Chris Van Dusen features an incredibly talented cast, and each season surpasses the last. The first season was led by Regé-Jean Page and Phoebe Dynevor as Simon Basset and Daphne Bridgerton.
