Asked about a potential spin-off involving Alladin and Ricketts in an interview published on Aug. 25, Nyswaner responded: “And we’re going to have all our fans write to Paramount to ask them for it. We’ve been pitching it. They haven’t come through yet, so let’s put the pressure on them.”

Marcus, played by Alladin, is an African-American reporter chafing at the unofficial segregation of 1950s Washington, D.C. Meanwhile, Frankie (Ricketts) is a self-assured drag queen. The two men don’t always see eye to eye, but they find a way to make their relationship work.



“He ends the series miles from where he began, in love with himself, able to love another, and able to take a stand for his suffering community,” Alladin told Blavity about Marcus’s journey in an interview back in December. “He accepts his responsibilities as a Black elder and as a queer elder,” he adds.



While Nyswaner didn’t give any details about in which time period the spin-off could be set, fans could watch the couple after the 1980s (the time it ends). Or, maybe, even explore their relationship outside what it was shown in the original series.

“Jurassic World” is coming with the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/scarlet-johansson-and-jonathan-baileys-jurassic-world-release-date-and-more">fourth installment of the franchise</a>, this time headlined by Scarlett Johansson and Jonathan Bailey. And, after months of speculation, Johansson has finally addressed the rumors, raving about her casting in the film.



“I am an enormous ‘Jurassic Park’ fan,” <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/topic/scarlett-johansson">Johansson</a> told ComicBook.com. “It is one of the first movies I remember seeing in theaters. I remember it so vividly. It was life-changing and mind blowing. I cannot express how excited I am,” she added.

However, according to Johansson, the script for the new one is “incredible.”

The star also told the outlet that the script “is so incredible.” The film was written by David Koepp, who also worked on Steven Spielberg’s original “Jurassic Park” (1993), as well as in “The Lost World: Jurassic Park” (1997). About the return of the screenwriter, Johansson said that he “returned after 30 years to write it and he’s so passionate about it.”

During a press meeting at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival on Saturday, June 15, Ashley told reporters, “I really hope so.” She added that both her and Bailey “adore” their characters, as well as “their relationship and what they mean for the show,” saying that they both will “do all we can with our schedules to make it work so that we can, hopefully.”

Meanwhile, Bailey hasn’t confirmed if he will return to Season 4, but he has expressed his desire to keep coming back to Bridgerton. “I look forward to supporting the rest of the family and the stories that go forward because if there is one thing I know about the beloved world is that you want to see them through and people invest their love and their time, and it means so much to so many people. So, yeah, me and Tony (Anthony) will be together for a while,” he told BAFTA.



However, it’s true that both of them have been busy. Ashley has two upcoming movies: the rom-com “Picture This” and “This Tempting Madness,” a psychological thriller. Meanwhile, Bailey will appear in the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/wicked-everything-to-know-about-the-upcoming-musical-with-ariana-grande-20240202-SPEN-4162.html">highly anticipated film adaptation of “Wicked”</a> this November as Fieyro, and he is expected to be nominated for an Emmy for his role in “Fellow Travelers.” He filmed the latter alongside Season 3 of Bridgerton, saying that it was “wild,” traveling from London to Canada to be able to do so.



<h2>Showrunner Jess Brownell says that she also hopes for a Kanthony return</h2>



In that same spirit, Bridgerton’s showrunner Jess Brownell told Variety that she “absolutely” hopes to see more of Kate and Anthony, but “it’ll be dependent on a lot of factors. It’ll be dependent on how much story the main couples take up, and whether there is story room. It will be dependent on whether the actors are available.”

When Chu confirmed the casting of Bailey, he wrote on X (formerly Twitter) that the actor was “perfect” and that he was “too excited” about it. Bailey has already showcased his musical talent on stage. He won a Laurence Olivier Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Musical in 2019 due to his role in the gender-swapped revival of “Company.”



<h3>Heartstopper Season 3 (October 2024)</h3>



On April 25, it was confirmed that Bailey had joined the third season of Hearstopper, Netflix’s beloved teen series. The actor will play Jack Maddox, a Greek scholar and author who is Charlie’s celebrity crush. Netflix teased his appearance with a video of Bailey in character.

Bailey isn’t the only new face joining the third season of Hearstopper. Hailey Atwell, known for appearing in Mission: Impossible saga, and Eddie Marsan (Back to Black, Ray Donovan) have been casted. Atwell will play Nick’s aunt, while Marsan will take the role of Charlie’s therapist.

Deadline also reported on April 15, 2024, that Bailey was in talks to star in the <a href="https://spoiler.bolavip.com/en/movies/scarlet-johansson-and-jonathan-baileys-jurassic-world-release-date-and-more">upcoming reboot of “Jurassic World,”</a> and the actor confirmed he joined the project while in an interview with Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show: “I mean it’s mind-blowing and it’s brilliant. I remember going to see Jurassic Park with my family,” he said. “It’s history and it’s the John Williams score. It’s [Steven] Spielberg. I have got nightmares for sort of 30 years, so now my nightmare has come true.”



The film, from Universal, will be directed by Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Rogue One: A Star Wars story). Meanwhile, Scarlett Johansson has also been confirmed to be one of the leads. Rupert Friend and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo are also joining the cast.

Jonathan Bailey won the Critics Choice Awards as Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series for his role in the drama “Fellow Travelers,” which you can stream on Paramount+, Showtime and Fubo. The series, which also stars Matt Bommer, has eight episodes, and it is based on the 2007 novel by Thomas Mallon.



The show centers around the decades-long romance between Hawkins Fuller (Bomer) and Timothy Laughlin (Bailey) who first meet during the height of McCarthyism in the 1950s. Their story also spans the 1960s, the 1970s and the AID crisis of the 1980s.



“For many is an education, but for us, is a vital truth. This series is a much needed reminder that LGBTQ+ people have always existed, mostly hidden. They have always been fighting for an easier life for generations to follow,” he said in his speech. 



<h2>What will Johnathan Bailey do next?</h2>



Bailey, 35, is winning critical acclaim for his performance in “Fellow Travelers,” but the British actor is barely starting to build a career as a leading man. His first taste was as Anthony in the second season of Netflix’s global phenomenon “Bridgerton,” for which he will return in a supporting role for the third season.



However, one of his most anticipated projects is the upcoming “Wicked” films, in which he will appear as Fiyero. It will be the first time that Bailey will sing in a role in a film, after he appeared in musical plays such as “The Last Five Years” and “Company.” For the latter, he won the Laurence Olivier Award.



In “Wicked,” he will appear alongside Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo. The films are set to be released on November 27, 2024, and November 26, 2025. However, he is also set to star alongside Felicity Jones in the romantic comedy ‘Maria,’ directed by Simon Amstell.
